  • Great gun love using it, the recoil can get low enough to use long range sights and be able to mag at enemies with missing 2/3s of the mag. cant wait to see more guns come from you

  • Aim gets stuck at ADS when quickly releasing right click after firing one or more shots, resets when right clicked again. (Using hold to aim)

  • The weapon looks AAA. Insane quality.

  • nothing feels better than unloading 50 rounds of this bad boy into killa

  • Can we have mg4?If I could see it appearing in Tarkov, my goodness, that would be great!

  • Was happy to see this and added it to the list, but the game refuses to get past loading the bundle now.
    Are there any compatibility issues with Fika or Swag/Sain etc.?

    • Shouldn't be any compatibility issues. All WTT armory mods are pretty lightweight and don't usually have any conflicting mod issues besides needing a realism patch. This would be the first case I am hearing about loading issues for this one.

    • Ah I see. No idea then, since I've used several of your mods with an SPT install without Fika and had no issues.

      Haven't found a way to fix it sadly and my friend had the same issue, when trying to launch the game after installing the mod.

      Weapon 5ae08f0a5acfc408fb1398a1 was generated incorrectly, falling back to weapon preset see error above" Apparently its somehow conflicting with the mosin. Thats what the "5ae08f0a5acfc408fb1398a1" id comes back to on the database search.


      So i may have figured out why it wasnt loading for me. I had the trader called Yilmaz and the dependency called Traps - Custom Quest installed. I had them both installed for a long time or so I thought since i never had a quest from Yilmaz. I downloaded traps mod and installed it today and then installed the m249 and thats when all of the WTT mods stopped working, even ones that ive been playing with for a while now. Uninstalled both and i still get the same error as stated in my strikethrough but the game loads and everything is usable again.

    Thank you and your team for your mod.
    As usual, the WTT team delivers with a fantastic end product.
    I saw below how there was a problem with finding quality kits for the M249.
    I will scour myself and let you know of any good findings.

    I really like the 100 and 200 round boxes for the weapon.
    Would it be possible to add functionality to use the M4 STANAG and its' variants?

    • Hey Cajun. Thank you for the kind words. Stanag compatibility is something we had considered, but due to the complexity, ultimately decided against it.

  • This was my personal weapon for 7 years in the Dutch Army. But the PARA version, with cllapsable stock.

    And i love that you bring it to Tarkov!

  • How to attach the Mod optic C79 to it?To mock up the M145 MGO of course.

    • Load whatever mod adds the C79 after the M249.

    • But it seems this weapon doesn't compatible with any mod optic at all

  • I dunno if anybody brought this up but the 249 has a second feed that can take M4 magazines in emergency situations. It's very unreliable but I would like to ask if it's possible to add?

  • I sometimes get those empty belt's parts flying slowly from the weapon and in exactly that position. It happens 1-2 times through the whole 100-round box. Not a huge deal, but a bit annoying)

    Other than that it's amazing work, it's a thing of beauty, thank you!

    • The belt is designed to shed off pieces as links are fired. I'm assuming you might be running something like declutterer with its performance physics option turned on? Normally these belt pieces will just fly off very quickly as you're shooting the weapon. They are affected by gravity. So it would seem that something that is changing physics in your game is affecting that.

    • Yeah, I do run the Declutter, but no physics changes. See the settings under the spoiler.
      I turned off the Declutter altogether and restarted the game to check if it is the reason (that's why it is turned off on the screenshot, it was ON when I wrote the original comment) and, well, I can see small pieces of belt flying off, but the big chunks are still there. They are now moving faster, but still, couple of them appear anyway. See the first screenshot under the spoiler.
      Are they intended? Because they kinda look weird flying without changing it's orientation in the air at all)

    • Hmm. Yeah they are intended to fly off very quickly in an actual raid, so it should be harder to notice. And they shouldn't be getting stuck like that. Could be hideout thing. Either way, not entirely sure that's something we can fix on our end unfortunately.

  • This is what I wanted! Thanks for creating this mod. How long does it take to build a weapon?

    • depends.


      a pistol with almost no attachments might take a day whereas a full platform with several attachments for every slot possible could take a week.


      it is a very case-by-case basis kind of thing.

  • Ive been waiting for this bad boy since I saw it mistakenly pre released here like few month ago and before I leave a comment I would like to thank you for all the hard work and appreciate the sharing the mod you make my EFT memory much better


    for my personal comment after fiddling with the mod It would have been better if you divide the bipod and heatshield so user can get rid them off if possible not the whole chunk (and I bet there are some good reason for you guys to make it like this u guys are professionals XD) so wwe can make more accurate modern looks!


    I know how much hard work it is to make this kind of stuff and I cant imagine doing it myself XD so please dont get me wrong this is a damn good mod It was just a suggestion and if it felt like asking a lot nor offensive then I apologizes (I am worried that my message could sent wrong since mu english is not that good XP)

  • i freaking love this thing, best one yet. Whats the possibility of M4 mag compatability with this? 200 round boxes are great but i wanna use 60 round coffin mags. M249 Para with those 60 Round mags is my unobtainable dream gun, id sell every liver i have for one

    • I am now realizing that would probably be hard to have different animations for the separate mag types, im not a modder otherwise i wish i could help on this one in particular

    • We looked into that and yea, it would involve more animations and messing with more code to get it to work.

    • First thing I looked for was the M4 mag compatibility too lol, wanted to recreate Bucky's M249 from Infinity War with the 100 round Stanag mag.

    • It's not even the load in/out animations, it's the fact that there's no way to change the amount of animations where you open the top to load a belt.
      All the animations are based around a belt-fed magazine, so when you check mag there's no way (outside of client mod fuckery) to have him check the side mag instead of popping the top.

      We looked into it initially, and again before release, and decided it would be too costly time-wise to include side-mag loading. Not until BSG implements it through their code.

      ... or maybe it will be looked over again before WTT releases. No promises.

    Is there a way I can make an edit so that a particular weapon mod can accept all applicable fore grip, stock, lights and lasers. This can be an issue for many other weapons mods and utilizing attachment mods, if its something I can go change I will. Not asking for the author to make this change, I can do this with the right direction. Is it possibly a mod load order issue?

    • Load order can fix that most of the time. Have weapon mods load first and have weapon attachment mods load after.

  • For the love of god, add in parts to let it be the M249E1, the OG Minimi. It's still in widespread service

    • mabye ask politely instead of whatever this is

    • I beg of you to go and in your infinite knowledge, find parts for the M249. Even if they're paid assets. I have personally looked all over for parts for this thing and the best you can do is apparently ask for more? Believe me, we've scoured the internet for more assets. I'm straight up considering commissioning parts so this thing can get really kitted out. If you want it then source it for us.

    • To clarify, there are plenty of M249s all over CGtrader and they are ridiculously inflated in price and they're not even modular. You can't take parts off of them to repurpose them. The model we used wasn't even necessarily up to par. But we made it work.
