Removes the degradation to gear max repair value, when repaired.

    I have given all my mods a sizeable refactor which should make the code a fair bit easier to follow. I have also added most of my todo list (any specific changes below), and want to release everything before things get hectic in my life again ^^.

    • If you have ServerValueModifier (you should, it's basically an essential mod) you can do this without downloading an extra mod.

      1. Install and open SVM
      2. Click on ''Traders services'' and next to it click the power button to green.
      3. In Traders services, click on the far right ''Armor repair won't wear durability'' and ''Weapon repair won't wear durability''.
      4. (optional for preference) Also in ''Inventory and items'' tab, you can turn off (or on in the menu) Weapon overheating. Makes it so when you're full autoing, you can actually full auto for more than 90 rounds before the weapon stops firing. JUST PREFERENCE, I personally hate overheating, it's way too fast in tarkov. ALSO REMEMBER TO TURN ON THE INVENTORY AND ITEMS TAB BY PRESSING POWER BUTTON TO GREEN!
      5. Click apply on bottom left of the application window.

  • Hi! As someone mentioned on another one of your mods, this mod doesn't take armour attachments such as visors into consideration. Would be nice if you could take a look at it! Besides that, great mod ❤

  • My weapon is degrading every raid about 1-2 points each raid. Am using Mk-18 Mjolnir . Any way i can fix it?I changed the Aki_Data\Server\database\templates items.json MaxRepairDegradation and MaxRepairKitDegradation to 0 for mk-18 only. I also saw DurabilityBurnRatio but i asume that this one is for points lost for every shot you take .I want to lose points but i dont want to have that red thing .I am not using the mod by the way.I just want some help.Is your mod supporting that? Because you are talking about Repair Degradation , not after raid degradation

  • Even with maxed out maintenance skill, body armor repair kits are causing degradation with this mod on my end. In my testing, the max quality loss didn't care what my skill was, in fact. Not sure if it's a conflict with realism mod but I did disable the trader repair settings from that, same deal. I tried playing with the qualityMultiplier setting in your config but that didn't change anything for the repair kit. Please let me know if I'm missing something, thanks.


    Edit: I did confirm this mod can overwrite realism's trader repair settings, meaning even with realism default settings, this mod will allow someone like skier to repair to full. Still though, armor repair kits have degradation even with maxed maintenance skill.

  • Degradation is not happening when repairing with vendors. It does happen when repairing with repair kits. This sucks because then you can't level armor skills. Hope this info helps.


    PS: I'm NOT using "Server value modifier" mod

      I tested it many times, rebooted the game and still have some points subtracted from the equipment.

  • Thank you, never made sense that you couldn't clean and repair your weapons back to a quality state, or swap plates out of armor vests and stitch the holes. Was done for balance in the base game of course but we can afford more realism in single player.

  • Hi, I really love this mod, it's one of my favorite, and I wanted to ask if this gonna be updated to 3.5.0?

  • This mod works great for helmets and armors, but does not appear to stop helmet attachments (e.g. face-shields, ear/jaw hitbox protection, armor plates, etc.) from losing durability on repair.

    After reading the actual mod js/ts files, my guess is that it's probably an underlying AKI bug, with "gear>gear components" not being attached to the variable this mod impacts, as they should be.


    ETA: It appears that "gear>eyewear" is also not being impacted by this mod.

    • Hmm that is interesting. I am not doing anything with the items themselves, it is each traders repair.quality that is being affected. This must not tie in for those items like it does for everything else. I don't know why I am afraid, and it may be a bit to much expansion of scope to fix. I will have a think and a fiddle.

    • It's probably an oversight in the base AKI code--that armor/rigs/helmets got moved over to a new variable, and eyewear/gear components didn't.

    This mod is awesome. Hate it when games play "degradation" card. Would be nice if i could turn off degradation completely but we cant have our cake AND eat it can we?

  • Is there any limitation when repairing gear with >100 points of durability? I modded the durability of armors and some reach +100 and with this mod enabled when triying to repair said gear it prompts "nothing to repair". This happened way before 2.0.0 and still persists

  • Kiki!, after 2.20 i can no longer repair my weapons fully once they get too far down (all are above 75% with fins). Also some weapons when repairing small amounts get to 99% instead of 100.


    Does my trader reputation increase the range of percentages of which i can repair ?

    I only repaired 5% and it wouldn't go back up to 100%, it's like weapon degradation is sometimes working.


    2.20 changed a lot of things with durability so not sure you can do anything about it.

    • Thanks for the heads up, I will have a fiddle and see what I can see.

    • Armor works fine, as shown here i have unlimited repair range for armor, face shields and other accessories that comes with them.

    • There we go, prapor is a bit of an oddball, so you will never get him lower (I think his price is a baseline) so I have increased it to 50 if the multiplier is being used (up from 0... )

  • What does "removeGrenades": true actually mean? Remove grenades from using at all or to remove it from degradation repair list? Description is kind of vague :) I'm guessing it's the latter.

    • Ahh yes, the config file / folder. Pretend that doesn't exist ^^ (I use zarya killer as a bootstrap for building my mods off, and forgot to remove it lol)

    • Rejoice for it now has a useful option in the config file.
