Game crashes as soon as I press play

I have reinstalled everything and looked at the FAQ which mentions the missing BepInEx log file and followed every step but the as soon as I click on start game it immediately crashes and sends me back to the desktop, I'm at a loss for what to do so please help if you can. I attached the preloader file in place of the BepInEx file as I had no way of asking for help otherwise.

You have to downpatch your game first. Your version 0.12.12.15.17639 is not compatible with the newest SPT-AKI (for Version 0.12.12.15.17349)

Use AKI Patcher for that.

i have been using the downgrader but it still does this. Is there anything else you believe it might be?

You made a seperate folder for SP-AKI?

I downloaded the game via Battlestate Launcher, downgraded and copied everything in a new folder and then copied SP-AKI over the new folder and it works fine.

For some reason it says Escapefromtarkov_BE.exe is missing but I don't have that in my SPI-AKI folder aswell.

Don't know in what process the file gets deleted but it works fine without for me. Maybe a mod can help.

Do you mean extract the contents in to a separate folder and then move it to my SPT-AKI folder? I will try it anyway.

Best thing now is to deinstall Tarkov and start clean again.

Delete all Folders after deinstall. (If some files are left)

After new clean install downgrade the game and then copy the whole Escape from Tarkov folder to a new folder and install SP-AKI in the new folder not the original one.

I hope this is ok. Again the second one is of the document that appears after the crash as the file in the BepInEx folder doesn't exist for me. Thanks again.

so to be clear:

1. copy EFT to a new folder for SPT

2. unzip patcher to SPT folder

3. run patcher to complete

4. unzip SPT-AKI into the SPT folder

5. run server

6. run launcher, click play, crash

- Download .NET Framework 4.7.2 and .NET 6 Runtime. The order does not matter.

It didnt make a difference repairing them. (I had them installed beforehand)

i did have someone uninstall them and reinstall them and it fixed it once, try that and make sure to restart your PC after installing them

I just did that, the only difference this time was the launcher said it was patching and then it took alot longer than usual to open the game at which point it crashed again.
