Action Items:
You can customize it too! You can replace the traders with whatever pictures you like.
Follow these guidelines to make sure the new pictures fit the item frames within the game.
- Square pictures are recommended but round can also be used.
- Transparency is ok.
- Recommended photo size = 512x for best compatibility.
- Pictures can be larger (1024x, 2048, etc.), but it requires more memory to store the larger file sizes while the game is running. Do so at your own risk.
- It can take longer for the game to load the images if there are a lot of large file sizes.
- Recommended filetypes = jpg or png (pick one; default is jpg).
- Do not use both jpg and png at the same time. Only one filetype can be used at any time.
- EXAMPLE: PRAPOR --> ./RES/59b91ca086f77469a81232e4.JPG (IMAGE SIZE 512X512)
If you would like to replace this picture, rename the picture of your choosing to include the same string "59b91ca086f77469a81232e4" and copy it to the mod/res folder.
If a file of the same name exists, click on "Yes" or "OK" to overwrite it.
To change to png from jpg, and vice versa, you will need to edit the ./src/config.js file.
See the configuration file options listed below for where to change the file extension type.
You can choose to update all trader icons (including mod traders) or choose to update only the desired traders.
Note: Some trader mods use the same avatar name for their traders so if you happen to have both traders installed while using this mod, then the image will be the same for both traders.
This can be corrected by removing the name of the duplicate traders from the config file and they will default to their own avatar instead.
An example of this is BiggerBang and ProgramK have the same image name of "avatar".

Extract the contents of the zip file to the "root" of your SPT folder.
- The same location as 'EscapeFromTarkov.exe', 'SPT.Launcher.exe', and 'SPT.Server.exe'.
Edit the configuration file to your desired state.
Where applicable, run the cache cleaner to purge your temp files of any preloaded content.
A script has been included in the root of the mod's directory to backup/restore the default trader icons.
You can use this to force the game to use the custom trader icons of this mod by backing up the default trader icons.
Just double-click the script and follow the on-screen prompts.
If you decide to uninstall this mod, you can use the script again to revert to your default trader icons.
Step 1: Run the backup/restore script found in the 'zzAlternativeTraderPics' folder to revert the trader avatars to their defaults.
Step 2: Delete 'zzAlternativeTraderPics' folder from the "[SPT]/user/mods" folder.
