SAIN - Solarint's AI Modifications - Full AI Combat System Replacement

  • Not sure if this has been addressed, but my Partisan bot does not move once he spawns. He just stays exactly where he spawns and I have to go find him and engage him. Now as I approach him, he does then "activate" and begins moving.

  • Ive started to notice some PMC's I kill are vanishing, and only the primary weapon kinda hovers. Making them unlootable.

    Is this related to SAIN?

    I feel like that's the alternative version of the "bots that died standing" bug. If you're lucky the body would land somewhere close by, if not they might be stuck in below the map.

  • I was thinking of this comment when i started testing the new version of SAIN since the only experience i have had in regards to what you describe has only come from one boss, and that is PARTIZAN, which he can do that, i have found when he shoots at distance he isn't that accurate tho, so i set out to test, i am not a content maker and i don't have a channel or want "likes" ...i don't care my only purpose here is to give back a little because since i have been part of the SPT community...It has been Awesome, guys here do amazing work and have turned the game into something i couldn't even imagine,...and i have been playing since 2016...Its the ONLY game i play. You can see the video yourself and its the BEHAVIOR of the Bots now that has changed so drastically, in this video example i thought of the problem you had and actually instigated it to see what would happen, the video doesn't contain the preliminary shot i took i had shot at him previously but missed, the bot tried to scan out then TOOK COVER with what seemed like a best guess in regards to what he heard, gamers will say at 200 yards you cant hear a suppressor....that is a complete lie, i am shooting an 7.62 hot round (MAI AP) i have 8 years service in the USARMY (MOS 19-D) and its Hollywood, i have heard suppressed HK 7.62 at 150 yards no problem, enough to at least dictate probability of shooter direction, i think you will be happy with the A.I. Solarint is kicking ass releasing new updates and remember SAIN is insanely customizable so try to get familiar with that F6 menu! , and all bugs aside if you happen to experience that when it does work as intended it's an incredible difference you can definitely feel in game. i have on the regular crazy gameplay that borders on insane, Rashala on Customs with all raiders no scav's with Goon Spawn chance at 100% ...So it is a mil-sim, i have 1:30 minutes in raid to find rashala wherever he is and terminate him....and sometimes its nearly impossible.....survival rate 34% ....Never had better games in my life, you literally have to "Survive" them, Dont pie out and overexpose yourself to the enemy just one time will get you killed, in the vid it almost happened to me, i pied out from that tree too much and he ALMOST got The upper hand.....every single mistake will cost you..AND THIS IS THE GAME I ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY!!! and guys like Solarint make that possible. ENJOY!!! Seems to me A.I are in a sweet spot, but if your used to vanilla like i was...your in for a surprise.

    it's SPT, i want to customize the game however i want, and i want to make it close to live, if someone shoots at you with a suppressed gun in online tarkov 200 meters away (not yards) you would just hear a crack and you would want to take cover first before anything, not turn around and aimbot whoever is shooting at you, i'm not asking for a change, i'm simply asking if there is a way to change that behavior, because this mod is very customizable.

  • I have grenades disabled for every type of enemy due to some grenade spam from 3.11.3


    For some reason they are still throwing grenades, not a huge issue but spam impact grenades are difficult to counter, I have ensured all settings/presets have been saved after making changes but nothing seems to work.


    The only AI mods currently installed is SAIN, Big Brain, and Waypoint.

    Same here, never had this issue previously with any version of sain.

    Pretty much every raid this happens.

    Getting really frustrating seeing these floating guns and realizing you're not getting sh*t for fighting that guy :)

    Downgraded to an older version like previously mentioned but can confirm vanishing bodies is still there and well.

    So probably not a SAIN problem... My bad!
