What is
Echoes of Tarkov is a gritty, story-driven mod that plunges players into the chaos left behind after a brutal power shift in the Norvinsk region. With old leaders dead, a new order rises from the ashes. You play as Rook — wounded, stripped of everything, and left for dead — now guided by a mysterious new figure known only as Viper.
In this unforgiving version of Tarkov, every choice echoes.
This isn't just another run.
This is the beginning of something deeper.
Echoes of Tarkov is a lore and gameplay expansion of Escape From Tarkov. Echoes of Tarkov aims to add new story to the world of Escape from Tarkov. This will explain alot of weird inconsistencies, for example, why the PMC is dirt broke despite the game taking 4-17 years after the blockade of Tarkov was put in place. Echoes of Tarkov currently aims to include three new traders, although more are in a concept phase. With the mod added to your game, it will rebalance the early stages of Tarkov by locking all traders (Except Viper and Fence) and adding new quests to unlock them 1 by 1. As previously stated, every choice echoes, there will be butterfly effects based on your choices and actions. Some quests will be fail-able without re-dos. Echoes of Tarkov will include custom items, such as new clothing, clothing items, Guns, Attachments, etc.
