SPT/EFT is currently in a volatile state for content mods. This makes it very challenging to keep up with updating custom items. New scripts are added to gear, weapons, etc, every update. Stay on SPT 3.10/3.9 for the best experience when it comes to these kinds of mods.
Ivan Samoylov is a master craftsman renowned for his exceptional skill in creating exquisite weapon cosmetics. With an innate talent for blending artistry and functionality, he transforms ordinary weapons into mesmerizing works of art.
Painter is unlocked at player level 1. You can sell him information barter items (SSD, intelligence folders, etc). I created this trader to feel like he's part of the game, and doesn't break progression too much. Painter doesn't require any other mod to function. But you should install at least one of my content mods.
Install the mod by dropping the folder in the zip into your SPT folder
Q: Can I rename the folders of your mods?
A: No, you will get errors and you should only do it if you know what you're doing.
Q: Why do I get assort error?
A: You didn't load Painter before my mods that require him / you didn't follow the install instructions / in VERY rare occasions mods can conflict with each other.
If you use custom load order: If a mod maker names his folder as I do with Painter with "a" before the mod name, you should not load that mod last in the order stack. Try to respect the mod maker's decisions to load mods first or last. "A" means load first, "Z" means load last. SAIN has z in the beginning of the folder name because the mod author wants it to load last.
Q: Why is Painter not selling any items?
A: You need at least one of my other mods that adds new content (BlackCore, TGC, etc). Also, at LL1 there are a limited amount of items due to trying to keep the balance of the progression in the game.
Q: Can I edit items in your mods?
A: Yes but I do not answer any questions about how you edit my mods. They work like any other mod and it's up to you to learn how to do it.
Q: Are these items compatible with Realism mod?
A: I do not provide support for the mod but there are patches from other modders if you search for them.
Q: I get: "TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'base')"?
A: You didn't load Painter before my content mods.
Q: I get doge cubes instead of your items?
A: You didn't load Painter before my mods that require him (Keeping the naming structure of my mod folders to default should be enough) or there is a mod conflict.
Q: Why did you not answer my question or report the error?
A: Sometimes I get the same question 10-20 times and if you search for the answer you will most likely find the answer. Errors are often the user making a mistake in reading the overview text / FAQ or not searching for an answer first. The modders have regular lives. So don't expect AAA support. It's ok to report things but please search through comments or discord before doing it.

It's VERY IMPORTANT that the trader is loaded BEFORE MagTape
They can be bought at Painter. Magazines will be added for the AK rifles and AR-10 platform in the future. Maybe a high-cap mag for AK and M4 too.
Use these taped mags to spot them easier on the ground. Also a great tool for keeping track of what ammo you have in them. I do not have the time to make these compatible with Realism (you can still use them though). You have to add them yourself with help from the author's guide.
Installation: drag the folder in ZIP into your SPT install folder

Updated to 3.6.1 and balanced prices for all items. Also removed stats for the parts. They will now use original stats like ergonomics and recoil. If you use a mod that changes the weapon mod's stats, then load order is important. This version can be used for SPT version 3.5.5 up to 3.6.1.

It's VERY IMPORTANT that the trader is loaded BEFORE SandCore
Elevate your SPTarkov gaming experience with "SandCore", an immersive weapon and weapon mod retexture. Dive deep into the grainy dunes and feel the essence of the desert with each pull of the trigger. Right now these weapons are retextured into FDE: AK101-105, M4A1, SIG MCX. More to come!
The modded items are sold by Painter. You can also find the modded weapons and mods in the flea market. Search for "Sand" in the search box to see all items from SandCore. Report any bugs in the support thread. I will not answer them in the comments. Other questions are okay to ask there though (feedback, requests, etc).

The weapon paints are only available in SPT versions below SPT 3.11. This is due to BSG implementing skins to the game. The asset bundles for modded weapons stopped working, so I had to remove them from BlackCore for the mod to function. From 3.11, only black weapon attachments were added.
Turn FDE attachments, weapons, and gear in the game to black with BlackCore, over 50 items retextured with some of them adding a new spice to the textures. Topographic lines, skulls, etc. A lot of effort went into making these retextures. Enjoy!
