QuoteUPDATED to 0.3.2. - updated the mod for SPT 3.11
Long story short: this mod is a must-have, so I decided to up it to 3.11. I did not ask the mod author, SomeoneNamedAdam, for permission to do so, but MIT license explicitly allows such steps. The mod will be taken down immediately as soon as original author returns to maintaining their mod and asks to do so.
This mod adds lootboxes from Arena to Ref. Also adds inaccessible (due to Lega medals) items as items sold for GP's.
This mod adds blue lootboxes from EFT:Arena to the new trader Ref.
Newest version also adds other items inaccessible in SPT due to them being tied to Arena progress.
!!!!! IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING THE NEWEST UPDATE (0.3.0) !!!!!
Before updating please delete any previous BARF versions as the file structure has changed!
- added loot pool rewards for Valuables and Supply crate (Weapon and gear boxes are still WIP cause they were causing profile corruptions)
- Added Woods gladiator key that i forgot to add (Ref has a barter for it using Lega medals which are really hard to obtain in SPT)
- Lowered price on Supply lootbox to 10 and increased the price on Valuables lootbox to 50
- Supply box reward pool includes: Items for crafting, Hideout upgrade items, Electronics, Barter items, Batteries, Flammable materials, Household utilities etc
- Valuables box reward pool includes: Bitcoin, figurines, info items like intel folder and rare crafting books
- Supply box gives out 5 rewards
- Valuables Box gives out 3 rewards due to the smaller pool of items to pull from
Thanks to Kiki this mod now includes config files where you can set the amount of rewards per box and what the boxes give out!
Configs can be found in: BARF\src\database
ItemsToAdd.json - controls which items are added to Ref and their price
crateContents.json - Includes the amount of items each box gives out and their loot pools
Melee weapon and secure container can be bought from Ref directly using large amount of GP Coins as they are supposed to be "Hard to get" items.
Future plans: Fix the weapon and gear crates
installation: Like any other server mod.
Huge thanks to Kiki for helping me figure out the code for the mod! Without them this mod would not be possible.
Installation: Drop the folder from the archive to SPT installation folder. If there's a 'BARF' folder instead of 'user' in the root of the archive, unpack it to ../user/mods.
Plans:
- Re-implement Lega medal as currency for trade offers - as I suggested in comments for the original mod.
- Add boxes of other rarities and make sure they drop relevant items when opened.
- SomeoneNamedAdam - original mod
- Kiki - for helping SomeoneNamedAdam with the mod before

QuoteUpdated to 1.0.4 - compatibility for 3.11. New transits. Typo fix in variable assignment to fix CN text in EN version.
What is Verbose Transits precisely?
Verbose Transits is a very small mod that adjusts RU and EN locales for map transits based on BSG's approach to all the usual EXFIL's. Basically...
- It changes EXFIL base text to destination location.
- The description is more in line with usual descriptions.
Example of new transit descriptions for Streets of Tarkov below:
I did not do extensive testing of the mod. Presumably, I didn't miss anything, and every transit should be covered by it. Lab's transit description above must be the longest out of all. The exfil list wraps around text, so no clunky stuff here.
Make sure to let me know if you are facing any issues. Cheers.

FileVHS - Various Hardcore Starts 1.0.3This version is for SPT 3.9
- Added EnableExtraIcons option to enable Dev, Sherpa, Emissary icons for all the new presets;
- Added Killa tracksuit to The Boss Edition;
- Set EoD and TUE to include related icons and backgrounds; *presumably* this means dog tags, but requires confirmation.
- Set relevant stash levels in Hideout per preset (I didn't do it before, and it may have caused your stash to become smaller upon upgrade in theory)

QuoteUPDATED to 1.0.6. - updated to work with SPT 3.11 & an itty bitty code refactor, courtesy of Apex Predator. Cheers.
Inspired by Zero to Hero+ by waffle.lord, this mod adds various presets, mainly based around EfT preorder packages.What does VHS do exactly?
- It adds 4-6 various presets, 4 of which are based on EfT preorder packs;
It uses assets from Unheard Update Item Preview by Pettan if set to in config and if available;it used to use Pettan's mod, irrelevant starting from 1.0.2/SPT 3.9 onward;- It does not attempt to be too much hardcore, as it gives you some starting capital
- It has some presets with unusual pocket sizes (one of which is more of a cheat preset in my book);
- It can disable all other base SPT presets if you so desire (I did, so I've set it up);
- It allows you to use Dev, Sherpa, Emissary account icons if you so desire;
- It allows you to choose between basic or usual stash per preset.
First thing I'd do in Z2H is sell a knife to get a gun and 7 bullets JW-esque, so a tiny bit of money that may last you for up to 2-3 raids is not precisely an insane start, a tiny bit forgiving one instead. If you're playing with SAIN and secure container restrictions, you'd know that just one chance is not always sufficient.
What are the presets in this mod?
(bold - always on, italic - toggleable)
- Standard Edition preset - a bayonet, 30k RUB, Alpha secure container, 10x30 stash;
- Prepare to Escape preset - a Voodoo tomahawk, 40k RUB, Beta secure container, 10x50 stash;
- Edge of Darkness preset - Alpha armband, Kiba tomahawk, 50k RUB, Gamma secure container, 10x68 stash;
- TUE preset - TUE armband, TUE kukri, TUE pockets, Cultist's robe, 75k RUB, Cultist Gamma secure container, 10x68 stash;
- The Axeman preset - TUE armband, antique axe, 15k RUB, LIKE waist bag, smaller pocket size (2 1x1 slots, 1 SPEC slot), 10x40 stash;
- The Boss preset - Kappa & Kappa armband, taiga, TV-109 sized pockets with 1 SPEC slot, 1kk RUB, 10x68 stash (I don't even know why I did it, prolly a PoC thing)
Settings that can be adjusted in config file (located in ../config/config.json) - default values below:
Code{ "RemoveSPTEditions": true, - if true, it'll remove base SPT presets "KeepTournamentEdition": true, - if false, it'll remove Tournament edition "EnableAxemanEdition": true, - if true, it'll enable The Axeman Edition "EnableBossEdition": false, - set to true to enable The Boss Preset "EnableExtraIcons": false, - if true, enables Dev, Sherpa, Emissary icons "UseBasicStashes": false, - if true, sets stashes to lvl 1 for all presets "Language": "en" - "ru" or "en". Affects preset descriptions }
Installation: Drop the folder from the archive to SPT installation folder. If there's a 'VariousHardcoreStarts' folder instead of 'user' in the root of the archive, unpack it to ../user/mods.
Sincerely hope it's fun for you, and not a useless junk of code. Cheers!Mods I'd advise along VHS:
Special thanks goes to:
- Jiblet and waffle.lord - for cargo pants and Z2H+ respectively, these inspired me to bother for a few days to do this mod in the first place (and to try and make horizontally scaled pockets, too
);
- Pettan - for the Unheard items preview;
- Gleneth- for helping me find out how to enable account icons and TUE background.
His insights proven invaluable, they also allowed me to enable other account icons (Dev, Sherpa, Emissary) in settings as well as suggested me to set stash upgrade in hideout to avoid any possible stash size issues after its upgrades. - WildShpee - he wished to set lvl 1 stash to TUE preset, thus gave me the idea of UseBasicStashes config option.
- And most importantly, you, who uses my mod. It's nice to know I am not the only one who finds this thing useful.
