I am getting one tapped by raiders, boss guards etc, any and all presets and most all settings A/B tested. Recent main game patch maybe messed with the ai more than we thought? Even though there is a SPT downgrade patcher no? Any way of stopping them from killing so fast, did you figure anything out?
your comment got me thinking, so i went into 2 raids, one with SAIN "Default" preset,...and the other "I Like Pain" preset,...the scary TRUTH,...I COULDNT TELL THE DIFFERENCE. video on the way...lol...bizzare.

unfortunately i have experienced this, even after hitting some raiders and pmc's a couple times they will quickly "Snap" on me and one tap me....quick. I haven't found an answer yet, very interesting is that when i went to play "Vanilla eft"...the bots were dumb and slow,..lol, so i don't know if there is a correlation there or not, the only thing i am going to try are different default settings to see if they effect behavior in ways we don't know about yet.
Have been playing the New Update for days now and i think the players that didn't like "Swarms" of bots storming to their location are going to be O.K now,...lol, it just doesn't happen that much and seems very balanced, i can see their point now as i remember how insane my games were last patch, i am getting VERY quickly head shot now, very quickly the bot will snap up even very injured and tap my head, line of sight on the headshots have been non-existent on my end. Hearing of Bots seemed to be tuned WAY down, seems realistic and although i loved the insanity of last patch this does seemed more balanced overall.
And i never mentioned any of those things. Try reading my post before quoting me and having a fit because of what someone else said next time, might help idk

i have played 6 different iterations of SAIN and this happens to me all the time so i have no idea what you experienced, no matter where i am if i make enough noise MANY bots come to visit me in waves, sometimes its 4 bots, sometimes 14......i can never tell AND THAT IS WHY I THINK THIS MOD IS GREAT!!!!! its completely unpredictable!....LIKE "REAL" life.

The point isn't that bots are finding us. We know they will. It's that they're finding us, in waves, EXACTLY where we are. Regardless of tactics or range.
The only time a bot hasn't instantly sprinted for my hiding spot that's 2 floors up, and 3 doors into a building ... AFTER having fired only 2-3 shots ... is when they're on the other side of the map. I've moved after killing a bot with a heavily suppressed weapon, and was found by a bot that ran right to my position that was 100+ yards away and in a different building.
Some gun setups are so quiet, that you need to be right next to them to hear the shot. Otherwise, all you hear is the crack of the bullet flying by from who knows where and yet ... the bots are finding us exactly where we are.
very sorry been playing this everyday and i have never had a problem like that AT ALL, so maybe i am just lucky..not trying to be "Aggressive"....i understand the MOD has its challenges meaning there are bugs in the mod, it just seems like some users don't understand that sometimes even in VANILLA EFT ....enemies show up in "Waves" just a fact, i think it actually does happen to me but i just think its "normal" since well i am playing a game where the MAIN OBJECTIVE is of ALL PLAYERS ON THE MAP TO KILL EACH OTHER, so i never thought that was out of place, i in turn really believe that people make comments out of frustration and since its a customizable mod some people believe that that means you "program" the MOD the way you want and then go into the raid expecting it to act EXACTLY as you imagine it will....which i never do, that is fiction since there will ALWAYS be "unscripted" and "unpredictable" behavior. To think everything will behave as you wish it no matter how much you try to control it is pure fantasy and i was just calling that out, if there are 13 bots around my parameter and i make alot of noise...they will all to varying degrees try to come and find me............i hope that never changes!!!!
Same here, never had this issue previously with any version of sain.
Pretty much every raid this happens.
Getting really frustrating seeing these floating guns and realizing you're not getting sh*t for fighting that guy
I'm having a lot of trouble with bots that constantly find my location and focus their attacks on me. As soon as I engage one bot and try to loot items, other bots immediately find me, which is very disruptive. This is really frustrating and seems a bit illogical. How can I fix this?
This is the whole point of the game!!!???? Are you trolling? yes you fire guns, they are loud, players hear you, they come to your location and try to kill you I have found ALOT of people that i have talked to that use SAIN are under the impression that although they are Bots and in reality we all know this ....They are not Programmed to ACT LIKE "BOTS" and i am blessed to say they don't. I hear clearly what your saying because i laughed out loud to myself the first time i shot from inside a building then had 4 curious players show up,...Just like they would if i were playing Vanilla EFT PvP!! . I can give you TACTICAL ADVICE since the "Bots" in SAIN actually Do act like Soldier's and will investigate if they are in your "Sector" we will call it. Once you engage an enemy and kill him DO Not Stay At That Location For Long, same thing with sniping depending how far away you are and who is in your parameter that you are unaware of. i sneak up to the building across from Building #4 on customs (by factory door to gas station) i know that if Rashala is at gas i have a good chance of a kill, but if i get the kill I NEVER STAY THERE! because now....enemies incoming, with Drax Big brain, etc with advanced meshes.....the guards will come to the Last location they heard the shots from or where engaged from, they climb up stairs they never used to and find their way to your location which what seems like at any cost,..lol. i play SAIN on "Default"...Its more than enough for me and after this last 2nd to last update it now plays EXACTLY as the "preset" you save, so i cannot speak to the fact that if you choose "Baby Bots" say that they will chase you as aggressively when you engage, maybe that's something I SHOULD TRY!!! just to see the difference....now i am curious..........But on "Default" i have almost NEVER had a game where they Didnt come looking for me.....
Booted up Vanilla Tarkov today and hit some runs,....Its a joke, its just the same as it was 2 years ago,..lol, makes you realize they been doing almost nothing...................
Sometimes when I shoot a scav or PMC they fly off into the air or into the ground (more than usual).
Is this related to SAIN?

Hi, when i shoot at a bot from 200 + meters away with a suppressed gun they immediately know where i'm and shoot back this is especially bad against bosses, they all start shooting at you, is there a way to make them try to to take cover first when they get shot from far away with suppressed weapon ?

I was thinking of this comment when i started testing the new version of SAIN since the only experience i have had in regards to what you describe has only come from one boss, and that is PARTIZAN, which he can do that, i have found when he shoots at distance he isn't that accurate tho, so i set out to test, i am not a content maker and i don't have a channel or want "likes" ...i don't care my only purpose here is to give back a little because since i have been part of the SPT community...It has been Awesome, guys here do amazing work and have turned the game into something i couldn't even imagine,...and i have been playing since 2016...Its the ONLY game i play. You can see the video yourself and its the BEHAVIOR of the Bots now that has changed so drastically, in this video example i thought of the problem you had and actually instigated it to see what would happen, the video doesn't contain the preliminary shot i took i had shot at him previously but missed, the bot tried to scan out then TOOK COVER with what seemed like a best guess in regards to what he heard, gamers will say at 200 yards you cant hear a suppressor....that is a complete lie, i am shooting an 7.62 hot round (MAI AP) i have 8 years service in the USARMY (MOS 19-D) and its Hollywood, i have heard suppressed HK 7.62 at 150 yards no problem, enough to at least dictate probability of shooter direction, i think you will be happy with the A.I. Solarint is kicking ass releasing new updates and remember SAIN is insanely customizable so try to get familiar with that F6 menu! , and all bugs aside if you happen to experience that when it does work as intended it's an incredible difference you can definitely feel in game. i have on the regular crazy gameplay that borders on insane, Rashala on Customs with all raiders no scav's with Goon Spawn chance at 100% ...So it is a mil-sim, i have 1:30 minutes in raid to find rashala wherever he is and terminate him....and sometimes its nearly impossible.....survival rate 34% ....Never had better games in my life, you literally have to "Survive" them, Dont pie out and overexpose yourself to the enemy just one time will get you killed, in the vid it almost happened to me, i pied out from that tree too much and he ALMOST got The upper hand.....every single mistake will cost you..AND THIS IS THE GAME I ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY!!! and guys like Solarint make that possible. ENJOY!!! Seems to me A.I are in a sweet spot, but if your used to vanilla like i was...your in for a surprise.

When a door is opened or closed, it will disable collision for 3 seconds on any nearby bots. It's still pretty awful, but BSG updated their ai door opener in a future patch, so just hold tight.
Removed all of sain's mag refilling logic and reverted everything back to mostly vanilla. Bots should never run out of ammo now.
Fixed bots being unable to move when trying to melee.
Bots still get the infinite mag bug, and it looks like its a vanilla…

I included a video so you could observe some A.I behaviors through door's, even when it works properly and the bots decide to go through the "Fatal funnel" i think the video speaks for itself and as i said it's all about the "Doors" ......but i completely understand there are limitations BSG puts on SPT coders in regards to hitting a ceiling, its amazing what you guys have done so far!!! I dont think i will ever be able to play "Vanilla EFT"...........
All i notice, and on the whole 98% of this is a brilliant MOD is "Door issues" it seems some Bots just run right through the door as if there were no door animation (and i checked "Door Options" in the F6 menu and with it on ..or without it it is still present) Bots will get stuck behind doors indefinitely and in general i don't see any real issues WITH THE EXCEPTION of negative door behaviors,...maybe someone should make a MOD "Tactical door bot breaching"...lol,...now THAT would be sick......

Not sure if this is problem with SAIN, but I don't have any other AI-changing mods and honestly have no clue what might cause it.
Every time Im in raid and there is a boss (except Tagilla, he is behaving ok) everything I can find is his followers solo roaming the whole map.
I've been trying to kill Reshala for quest for 2 days and I just can't find him. His followers are somewhere near his spawn location, but no sights of boss.
Same with Glukhar.
And I also tried to rush boss knowing where he is using BossNotifier, but no luck finding him.
So, idk if this is SAIN issue, but I hope someone can help me with them
I will just tell you know....SAIN might not be for you, it is fully customizable so i would suggest going into the "SAIN F6 menu" and LOWERING a lot of the settings in regards to bosses, i have 10,000 hrs in tarkov vanilla, i am a very good player who had consistent 70%-80% survival rate....ON SAIN "Default" difficulty it went right down to 40% to 50%, ....with the "Greed" mod installed where i have Rashala spawning on customs all the time with No scavs all Raiders....................20% to 30%. i have found rashala MILES away from his guards with SAIN, there is literally no way to tell where he is...and i love it this way! you have to "recon" your AO, you have to move as if you are REALLY IN THE MILITARY...lol. Bots dont just call out and run when you throw a frag, sometimes if its not close....they say nothing, ...then Flank you, its a whole different game, played Tarkov PvP for 7 years and i can say....this is harder....by far....AND I LOVE IT!!!!! but you need a completely different mindset.
i use now less difficult preset, maybe now it's ok. But why default preset is so hard? It's just impossible to kill bot.
I USE THIS MOD OUT OF THE BOX FOR MY EQUIVILANT TO A "COMBAT SIMULATOR" MEANING...IT IS UNFORGIVING, ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL THE BOTS BUT IT DOES TAKE SKILL, ITS LIKE PLAYERS REALLY GOOD PLAYERS PvP, BUT LIKE THEY SAID THIS MOD IS very CUSTOMIZABLE, SO EVERYONE CAN HAVE THE GAME THEY WANT!!!!
