Don't have any other mods but SAIN.
in location -> map -> base.json definitely has variables that modified number of scavs.
First of all, there is overwhelming ratio of PMC that comes from "IgnoreMaxBots": true in every pmc block.
Also pmc is "bosses".
Second, new block - "waves" that descibes scav spawn. It's really low i think.
Knowing that i've managed achieve huge amount of scavs, but game start to slow down. Something i've missed. Need to balance it.
On Customs i don't see any difference. In config files, i think it's has new name - bigmap.

i use now less difficult preset, maybe now it's ok. But why default preset is so hard? It's just impossible to kill bot.

I USE THIS MOD OUT OF THE BOX FOR MY EQUIVILANT TO A "COMBAT SIMULATOR" MEANING...IT IS UNFORGIVING, ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL THE BOTS BUT IT DOES TAKE SKILL, ITS LIKE PLAYERS REALLY GOOD PLAYERS PvP, BUT LIKE THEY SAID THIS MOD IS very CUSTOMIZABLE, SO EVERYONE CAN HAVE THE GAME THEY WANT!!!!

Sorry if my question sounds stupid but : how do you set the scavs to be like in the Vanilla version ?
By which I mean : they can't lean, they talk a lot, they don't secretly wait for you on a wall corner, etc... just like in the original game (just the scavs).
I have trouble with the settings of the mod, i don't understand what to highlight, and how to confirm etc.

Go into the SAIN editor (F6 by default)
In the Global Settings, open the "General" tab, then open the "Vanilla Bot Behavior Settings" and from there you can enable vanilla scavs.
Then hit the "save and export" button and your scavs should behave the same way they do in normal Tarkov PvE

With my settings, they say things like : "Contact", "Realoading", "Clear"...
What i did : Global Settings > Talk
> Talkative PMCs = OFF
> Vanilla Bot Talking = ON

I have this set in the Server value modifyer.
AI low and difficulty to medium - but does this apply to PMC's or scavs - or both.

Not sure if this is problem with SAIN, but I don't have any other AI-changing mods and honestly have no clue what might cause it.
Every time Im in raid and there is a boss (except Tagilla, he is behaving ok) everything I can find is his followers solo roaming the whole map.
I've been trying to kill Reshala for quest for 2 days and I just can't find him. His followers are somewhere near his spawn location, but no sights of boss.
Same with Glukhar.
And I also tried to rush boss knowing where he is using BossNotifier, but no luck finding him.
So, idk if this is SAIN issue, but I hope someone can help me with them

I will just tell you know....SAIN might not be for you, it is fully customizable so i would suggest going into the "SAIN F6 menu" and LOWERING a lot of the settings in regards to bosses, i have 10,000 hrs in tarkov vanilla, i am a very good player who had consistent 70%-80% survival rate....ON SAIN "Default" difficulty it went right down to 40% to 50%, ....with the "Greed" mod installed where i have Rashala spawning on customs all the time with No scavs all Raiders....................20% to 30%. i have found rashala MILES away from his guards with SAIN, there is literally no way to tell where he is...and i love it this way! you have to "recon" your AO, you have to move as if you are REALLY IN THE MILITARY...lol. Bots dont just call out and run when you throw a frag, sometimes if its not close....they say nothing, ...then Flank you, its a whole different game, played Tarkov PvP for 7 years and i can say....this is harder....by far....AND I LOVE IT!!!!! but you need a completely different mindset.

Hi, I had SAIN-3.3.0 version installed, everything was fine with bots. Then you released SAIN-4.0.0-RC2, I didn't play with this version, a day later they updated SAIN-4.0.1 - I went into a raid, I loot a box, I hear someone shooting at me, I saw a bot, at first I didn't understand, I thought I imagined it, but no, the bot was without legs, or a bug with textures or something else. All i notice, and on the whole 98% of this is a brilliant MOD is "Door issues" it seems some Bots just run right through the door as if there were no door animation (and i checked "Door Options" in the F6 menu and with it on ..or without it it is still present) Bots will get stuck behind doors indefinitely and in general i don't see any real issues WITH THE EXCEPTION of negative door behaviors,...maybe someone should make a MOD "Tactical door bot breaching"...lol,...now THAT would be sick......
