Check the original mod page for details. Adds multiple magnificaiton levels to the Eotech Vudu. If used with my FOV Fix + Variable Optics mod and enabling compatibility in the config, allows you to smoothly switch between each zoom level.
For compatibility with FOV Fix + Variable Optics
- Make sure your folder structure looks like: user/mods/zzSamSWAT-EOTechVuduOverhaul
- Make sure it's loading after FOV Fix and Geff's Scope Overhaul if you're using that
- Make sure "SamSwat Vudu Compatibility" is enabled in the F12 config menu for FOV Fix.

Hi. I have this mod downloaded for 3.9 (not any other FOV mods).
Issue:
When I go through the magnification steps on the VUDU (1x through 6x) my sensitivity changes as well. For reference, I have the main settings ADS sensitivity at its lowest (1). At 1x, it feels normal. But at 6x, it feels very high.
Question:
While that makes sense I guess as far as the more zoomed in you are, the more sensitive the magnification is to movement, I was wondering if there was a way to keep the sensitivity constant.
I don't see anything in the f12 menu for the mod, and did not want to play around with any of the mod files without understanding more (if there is anything more to understand).

Hi
Im getting this issue with the Eotech Vudu Overhual my issue is where the scope dosen't seem to be changing the magnification when Im using my scroll wheel, other than that when Im ADSing I can't seem to move my gun in either direction seems like the only option would be to put away the gun and pull it out again. I followed the instructions on having this work with FOVFix but dosen't seem to work.

If you followed the instructions and installed everything correctly it would work

Hi bro, I found that the current 1.0.0 is also for SPT3.9.0. Can you re-upload a version for 3.8.x? Thanks
RogueTech67
Just tried this on SPT 3.9.0 - 3.9.3 and it works with no modifications to any files. mods.js had no references to "aki" or "spt-aki" that needed to be changed. Even with package.json left at ["akiVersion": ">=3.4.0"] it seems to work flawlessly.

Should this be loaded before or after Borkel's Realistic thermals?

A Picture would be DOPE to compare it 👍

Dope huh? Well there is one on the original mod page.

thanks i found it 🤣🔥

I used this mod together FOV Fix and enable compatibility and it works well. I found one thing weird is the zeroing function is also increasing while you increase your vudu magnification, for example (magnification/zero meter): 1x/50m ; 3x/150m; 6x/300m. It was supposed not to change your zeroing while you are increase/decrease zoom magnification, it should be two separate function, you want 6x but your zero meter should not touch at all/ your own choice.
I brought up this issue before and found the mod/code has no issue. is it possible to do something like make sure your zero doesnt change while increase/decrease your vudu zoom?
I know this mod is from SamSwat but I just want to know if any chance to correct this?
mahorin
Can confirm that

That has been an issue since the original upload. I tried to change that in 3.7.1, but just ended up breaking the functionality. Someone who actually knows what they're doing could probably fix it rather quickly. The mod probably just needs to be remade without the zero shift.

Enabled "SAM SWAT VUDU Compatibility" in the FOV Fix settings. I went into the raid and realized that there was no beautiful animation on the sight. I started switching settings in FOV Fix and eventually got "stuck" in the scope without the ability to move and rotate the camera. Then I got stuck in a prone position. All I could do was change the zoom and shoot
I use the mouse wheel for the zoom

Make sure it's loaded after FOV Fix and ACOG4Life's Scope Overhaul

I switch the multiplicity from x1 to x6, then I press the multiplicity 5 times, nothing happens and at the 6th effort it returns to increasing x1

I renamed the folder and it worked, thanks. user/mods/zzSamSWAT-EOTechVuduOverhaul

I followed the usual install instructions from these kind of mods, also with the comments of Acier and Schrader in mind. It works so far. The animation works just like it was intended. But when i scroll the mouse wheel to switch between magnifications, the zeroing of the scope also changes. Even though i have completely different keybinds for that.
Someone got an idea?

Thanks Acier and Schrader for pointing out that file structure difference. Very odd for distinguished modded Fontaine to have done this. Guessing it was just an oversight. You can manually create a \user\mods\PICKYOURNAME folder and put the (4) files and folders in there for organization, and the mod still works.

It's actually very easy and normal to make mistakes, and one that's very easy for a user to figure out and fix. I fixed the upload anyway
Schrader
While all server mods i know are bundle their files (e.g. package.json / bundles.json) in a directory, this mod has everything directly under user/mods and not under user/mods/mod_name
Fontaine Author
yeah was mistake with upload, fixed now
