This is a reupload because it seems like the mod is deleted or something.


This mod adds a new trader that sells all food items and also food storage item.

    Edit: Is it just picture changed in 5.0.1? I use custom icons anyway, so wouldn't change anything for me.

  • In the latest version (5.0.0), it looks to be referencing the wrong trader icon file name

    • if you go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\Battlestate Games\EscapeFromTarkov\files\trader\avatar and put in any pic you desire with name fooddrink.jpg, it will work.


      If you want the original neon sign - in mod folder there is "res" folder with that neon sign icon.

    • I had already fixed it, just wanted to let them know of the issue so they could fix it (which they did).

    • Already one of my fav mods. To be able to throw all the food into the container is great, but over time i will be able to stop wasting pack space on foods and fill up one gooder stuff! Great Mod!

  • How do I change the price for the food container? Everything here sells for 10k but you can just resell to another trader for massive profit.


    Food container bought for 10k

    Sell to another trader = 200-300k Plus


    Any way to also balance the prices instead of listing everything at 10k as well? Going to have to remove for now.

    • Found out that changing this line to false reverts all prices to vanilla except the thermal food storage which just gets cheaper. Looking into a way to remove that though since I can't alter it.

  • So I fixed the trader Icon by going into the Food and Drink mod folder opening Package.json and changing the name from "FoodDrink-Redux" to "FoodDrinkRedux"

  • There appears to be a small error: the game looks for "Revingly-FoodDrink-Redux-3.4.0" when displaying the icon, but the folder is actually named "Revingly-FoodDrinkRedux-3.4.0" (no "-" between "Drink" and "Redux").


    Going into the mods folder and adding the hyphen is enough to get the icon to display.

    Update.
    After another start I have this trader but icon is not loading.
    And it is not in my taste because everything is priced at 10.000 even small refridgerator.

  • I really liked the idea of this mod, but everything being 10,000 rub, was basically a cheat.

    • It seems there is a bug that make the prices for all items being 10000, I'll look into it

    • When I set 'disable_original_prices' to 'true', the price was the original price.

    I just installed the mod for 3.2.4 with the current version of the mod (3.3.1) but I'm getting the file/directory error where it can't find the image.

    • Is the mod folder name like this "Revingly-FoodDrink-Redux-3.3.1"?

    • yeah same bro, i love the mod, but i got that error since the 3.2.3 version

    • it doesn't affect the game that much but it just won't load the actual image of that food trader and in the server, it'll come in red 3 times stating it can't specify the jpg file

    • Can you clear the temp files from the spt launcher (in the settings menu) and try again?

    • yeah bro i tried doing that, the problem still showed up. I created a new profile and did another fresh install only with your mod and it doesnt show the picture of the trader and shows that error. I'm not sure if it's happening on your end

  • Cool mod but the trader is selling everything for 10000 even though 'disable original prices' in the config is 'false'. Any idea why this is?

  • Ah i remember this mod, nice to see it back, was a convenient mod to sell everything for good price when i felt lazy.
