CWX WEATHERPATCHER 2.6.1

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

Should make the raid sunny, no cloud, no rain or thunder, no fog throughout the raid

USE CWX-MegaMod


PLANS:

- add a config to allow custom weather values


HOW TO INSTALL: (this is how to install for AKI 2.3.0 onwards)


1. Open the Zip

2. inside you will see, a BepInEx folder and a user folder.



3. copy these and paste them to your AKI install folder.



4. Done! there is nothing else for you to do.


IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE THE MOD, DELETE THE FOLLOWING:


  • SPT Install / BepInEx / plugins / CWX-WeatherPatcher.dll (this dll file)

  • i really hope somone updates this to 3.8.0 one of the best mods i miss it, i wish i knews how to do it i would ask.

    • is it safe to assume that the 3.7 vers wont work with 3.8.0?

    • Doesn't seem to. I'm testing it atm but if it isn't colliding with SamSWATS weather changer then it doesn't work on 3.8.0 unfortunately.

      Sam's Mod allows you to change the weather but you have to do it every round, if I haven't missed something.

    • so iv ran about 10 raids with this mod on im ganna say iot works with 3.8 cuz every raid was sunny so it works or i had great rng for weather

    • so iv been running this for a while and can say iot deffinetly stopS the raIN AND Thunderstorms But more often then not i get random heavy thick thick fog on sunny days but it does stop the rain and gives sunny days just alot of fog

  • So now that its nov 16th, is this going to be updated to 3.7? because my spt has fixed times and yet sometimes the 12 pm will actually be like 3 AM

  • Hello, I wanted to ask if you can make your CWX-WeatherPatcher mod so that it does not remove fog in the game. I have version 3.5.8 and I installed mods + AmandsGraphics in this mod there is a section where fog is configured, but I can't do it like in the original Tarkov game. I set it up in every way, I deleted AmandsGraphics. And I installed ReShade without the AmandsGraphics mod and your CWX-WeatherPatcher - it seems that I managed to achieve such a fog similar to the original. - https://ibb.co/SKzrjBv

  • Great mod man! I’m quite fond of it. However for some reason I can’t seem to get this to work. I’m on 3.6.1. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling a few times but it doesn’t work. It worked for me previously on 3.5.8 but since updating it stopped.

    One question: is it possible to suppress the wind and the water noise of the brook when the weather is nice? The weather is nice, the sun is shining but the wind is terrible. Or maybe another sound mod?

    • it would be possible but with Fins mod: here there isn't much point, try that

    • Fins mod, goes but only with headsets and not right. What about Scavs without headsets? Maybe as an option with true or false.

    i installed the mod. But dunno how i will set up things. Theres no config file. Nothing happening when i click on F12 . Can you please help me ?

    • you don’t set anything up, if it works (as some people are having issues) you go into raid and it will be sunny and no fog

  • With 2.3.0, 10mins after the raid started, it starts raining. :(

  • I don't think this is redundant at all. When I use this the maps look a lot clearer compared to with the weather changer. Though I do use both because you can adjust time with the other one.

    • it's not been set up for 2.2.0 that's why.

    • Are there some noticeable changes in 2.2.0 in how weather works? No weather mods work on 2.2.0 at all

    • @Tarkoccp - 2.2.0 just got released today, plus there is no support for dev builds if that is what you were using when you first made your comment.
