Fresh downgraded install infinite loading on splash screen

    Using a fresh updated copy from the main file. Downgraded using todays patcher. Game always has infinite loading on splash. Tried to delete share.ini then local.ini in Documents.

  • It took 3 minutes for me to load, and suddenly it got into the menu, i was tabbed out reading the mod pages here. it may have been longer than 3 minutes, give it some time to load.

    Latest release on live unless a patch has released in the last couple of hours.


    Only thing i did this time was delete temp and reset profile button.



    Tried it with mods took 3-4 minutes, it's really slow to start for some reason.


    Third time: in after 4 minutes, i did nothing other than launching it.



    The wierd part is when i first installed it was launching instantly into the menu, now it takes time.

  • How do i see if i have the same version as you guys. The game may have updated in the mean time, but as long as the downgrader lets you downgrade it should work ?

    You're gonna hate me but remove the new copy, now go into documents and delete tarkov folder and empty bin. next search in windows for any trace of tarkov and delete it and now without opening live launcher take a new copy of the game and start over, let me know if that helps, we have to try everything.


    If all this fails i will add you on discord and send you my version of the game, the live one which you still have to register.

  • yeah this issue regards easyAssetPatch isnt related to that, its an issue with old files still persisting, easiest option is to redownload the game
