'Special Maps' has been deprecated in favor of 'Special Slots' (this mod).
This basically gives you the flexibility to add more inventory space of just carry non-special items in the Special Slots.

~~ RECOMMENDATION ~~
If you are using Server Value Modifier, install HideSpecialIcon.dll, found in the Case Space Manager section of the mod. This will prevent any container's expanded slots from showing up when placed in one of the Special Slots.
===== What Does This Mean To Me? ====================
Well... here are some pros and cons to help you with that...
Pros:
* Special Slots can hold anything.
* Special Slots can be used to hold containers so you can hold even more items.
* Special Slots retain everything after death. (See 'Cons' section for the one exception.)
Cons:
* Special Slots cannot hold stacks of objects such as Ammo unless they are in a container.
* Containers/Weapons/Items placed into Special Slots that have been insured will go through the insurance process upon your death. For example: if you have an insured container full of awesome loot in a Special Slot when you die, then you loose the loot and the container is subject to the insurance process.
Sort of Con / But sort of Not:
* Special Slots use containers much like the Armor, Backpack, and Secure Container slots so the containers expand when placed in the slots.
* Recommend using SVM for SPT 3.8.0 - Under "Case Space Manager", click to install HideSpecialIcon.dll file. It should hide the container's slots when placed into any of the Special Slots.
===== F.A.Q. =======================================
- This mod only changes what can be placed into the Special Slots on your PMC's inventory screen.
- It does not change the inventory screen behavior.
This mod is 100% compatible with all mods that do not alter Special slot behavior.(I was wrong... it had an issue with SVM that should be cleared up now.)
===== Compatibility =================================
SVM Compatibility:
- Fully compatible.
- Changes to the number of pocket columns can remove some or all Special Slots. That is NOT a side-effect of this mod.
SPT-ProfileEditor Compatibility:
- Setting Pockets to anything more than 4 wide (adding columns), will remove the Special slots.
- Setting pocket count to (10) or (15) will cause you to lose your Special slots.
- 10 = 5 columns x 2 rows
- 15 = 5 columns x 3 rows
- The options with counts of (4) do not remove the Special slots.
===== Load Order ==================================
If configuring the load order of your mods, make sure that SVM is loaded before this mod, otherwise, this mod may not work.
Extract the contents of the zip file to the "root" of your SPT folder. (The same location as EscapeFromTarkov.exe, Aki.Launcher.exe, and Aki.Server.exe)
