And it gives an error when starting the server.

I've updated to the latest version of the mod, and the Squad Manager doesn't seem to be working correctly for me.

I'm trying to use the /add command to add a follower, but the Squad manager keeps responding with "An error occurred while processing your command". I also get a simple "error" message in the server console.

I've ensured /restrictions is set to off. I've disabled Follower Prefetch Data in the F12 menu. I currently have friendlyPMCs as the last mod in my load order.

Any ideas what could be causing such an issue?

I've tried using "Omen", "Pilgrim" and "Dryad" for nicknames, as well as several individual letters.

There is no actual error message popping up in the server console. Just the Client sending a request and then "error". The SquadManager chat also doesn't show any error messages beyond the one I mentioned previously.

That got the error to show up.
