Yeah that gave me a heart attack too. It is at BSG's end. I hear turning off binaural audio should fix it (though I am yet to confirm for myself.)

I can't see anything in the error logs, this is normally caused by incompatible game version, I know you say you have the right version, but i would ask you to confirm this by right clicking on EFT.exe, going to properties then details, and it will show you the version installed.
