Arse Scratching Service (ASS) 1.7.0

Please do not ask when mod authors will update their mods to 3.10 or if they can upload older versions of their mods.
Bothering mod authors will lead to warnings and repeat offenses will lead to eventual bans.

On a long raid and your armor melted? Weapon dying? Faceshield riddled? Arse Scratching Service can fix this. Perfect for long raids where you realize nobody loves you.

This mod will gradually repair your armor overtime after a set amount of time that you were last hit (configurable from bepinex menu f12).

The rate at which it repairs the armor is also configurable. Not to make this too cheap, i have set the repair rate pretty low and you need at least 60 seconds before it begins repairing the armor.


There is one false flag from virustotal. If you guys are scared you can can recompile the code from my github.


It will only repair items with an armorcomponent in the following slots:

headwear, facecover, armorvest, tacticalvest, eyewear


Installation.

Drop the dll into your /bepinex/plugins folder.


Removal

Remove from the installation folder and thats it.

  • Does ASS level your skills (Light Vests, Heavy Vests, and Weapon Maintenance)? If not, I would love to see it added (heck you could even add a config to enable/disable gaining skill xp.) Thank you

    I've noticed that the mod wasn't working and had this popping up in the console repeatedly.

    • You are probably trying to use this on 3.7.1 which is not supported yet.

  • Does this work with Realistic Plate System by Kobrakon?

    • Not sure. I think it does though since it looks for all items attached to it.

    • After testing it with only this mod, Realistic Plate System and SVM (to make myself a tank).
      Yes, it works, Armor Plates do get repaired.

    • probably not. i think there was some changes between 3.5.3 and the earliest version which is probably 3.5.5

    • Same, Exfil Helmet as well as ssh-68 (the base green one from ragman) weren't getting repaired, still didn't try others since i just passed from 3.5.7 to 3.5.8. I'm thinking it might be a conflict with another mod tho in my case since i have 27 mods and more plugins installed of even 3.5.7 version.

      Btw, great mod, really helps on longer raids tyvm for making it.

    Would it be possible to implement some kind of payment for this service if it's enabled? I was thinking maybe if mod is/was enabled during the raid, it removes insurance status upon extraction? So that way you kinda paying with insurance money, and I assume wouldn't be too hard to implement?

    Obviously as a toggable setting, so people can use it if they want it

    • Additionally, would be nice to have "max durability drain" where we can set up how much max durability is drained per each HP repaired, so, for example, for each HP repaired we could set up that it drains 0.1 (or any other number) max durability. Because as of now, you never need additional armors/rigs besides couple of spare kits, since you end up with full armor anyway. If we'd have such option it'd make use of spare rigs since eventually your max durability will get slashed.

    • Oh that is pretty good idea. so you get the repair but still lose durability.
