Tarkov Dual Sense Adaptive Triggers 1.1.0

Want to play with realistic triggers on a controller? This allows people with ps5 dual sense controllers to have triggers that feel like real triggers and even react to weapon malfunctions. This uses an external program to provide controller input.

Customizable settings in the dvize.DSX folder by editing the config json file. I'm not going to take the time to explain how to customize it but you can look at the instructions document and compare to the actual config file to get an idea.

Requirements

  1. DSX Free or Steam Version (Steam version fullly works properly) ... free version half works because the formatting changed. DSX Version 2.X only works for now.
  2. Amand's Controller Mod.

AmandsController

DSX free version in release section - You can grab the latest release from DEC 2021.


The free version doesn't have working lights or the vibrating triggers - i guess the format has changed so i'm not going to bother making it fully work with the free version.


The port for UDP must be set to 6969 for DSX (which is default)


Installation
unzip directly into your bepinex folder and it should put a dvize.DSX folder inside your bepinex/plugins folder if it was installed correctly.

  • After a couple hours of troubleshooting, finally got this to work.

    • What was the issue?

    • I had DSX on Steam as well as Amands Controller and while Amands Controller was working, somehow DSX 3.0.5 was not registering this mod even though the UDP port was open. DSX Steam has an option to use v2, so I tried that and I finally got both this mod and Amands to work.


      EDIT: I just realized you put "DSX 2.X only works for now" in the changelog of an earlier build. Maybe you should also put it on the main description.

    • Version 3 does not have support for custom triggers via UDP yet.. so basically no game mods work with it yet. I have added the note on the overview page.

  • Is it even viable to use controllers with tarkov? Like how do you manage things in your inventory quickly with one?

    • You could use a mouse and controller if that bothers you... or just make sure you clear the area thoroughly before looting.

    • That's true...it's much more chill playing SPT admittedly especially when I can just cloak with AT nano suit and breeze from combat lol.

  • Any chance of this getting updated to work with DS4Windows?

    • i don't think ds4windows has settings for triggers preset for me to use
