    • Improvement: if you have selected a support request but have not confirmed it with LMB, either pressing ALT + RMB, or switching from the rangefinder to another weapon or item will cancel the support request
    • Bugfix: Fixed missing Black Hawk helicopter rotors (the old ones went for some cigarettes and never came back :( )
    • Bugfix: Fixed the direction that the A-10 approaches in; it now actually follows the path shown with the marker
    • Bugfix: Fixed an audio bug with the A-10 strafe on its first use in every raid, where its engine sound was loud and immediately played after confirming the strafe request
    • Bugfix: Resolved a NullObjectReference exception when extracting with the Black Hawk helicopter
    • Misc: Some code refactors/improvements


    I highly recommend updating to this version as the fixes will improve your immersion and has a nice new improvement :)

  • I no longer have as much time as I used to, so I will only be maintaining this mod - the Apache stuff is left unfinished and it's unlikely that I'll finish it either. Same goes for other features or bugfixes.

  • Just thought how cool it would be to have the extract feature be attached to a flare instead. Then the price of the flare itself could be easily configured and this would add an improved visual atmosphere to the extraction as well!


    A cool idea if someone picks it up and figures it out. Nonetheless, great work Arys we appreciate the work you did :)

  • i just updated to spt 3.9.5. when i press y twice to pick gesture menu nothing shows for fire support.

  • anyone tried this with FIKA?

    • Yes, it works (3.8.0), but we can only see it for the one who started it, but it kills and evacuates normally. (I didn't try to evacuate as a host when my partner was still in the game, but after the evacuation of my allies, it's fine)

  • The only reason I had not updated SPT was to wait and see if you release the Apache update or not.
    Hopefully someone else will pick it up one day.
    till that day I shall spare me another wacky adventure in pirate's bay.

  • hey Arys, I really enjoyed this mod in 3.8.3 but after updating it to current 3.9.0 save, it doesnt seem to work

    to confirm this i called in strafe on this sniper scav and it didnt kill him, can you look into it? I'd really appretiate it as this is one of my favorite mods.

    Edit: Tried it today on a long raid, and the helicopter going for the extract, is very cool and makes noises ... incredible mod! Thanks for the port for newest version of SPT.

  • Hey, not sure if it's on my end. but when I try to Download through OperaGX 6 different times I keep getting "Interrupted: Virus Detected"


    Weird, because I downloaded this mod a few times before without any problems... I'll try a different browser


    EDIT- Download* not install

    • Update- I installed chrome and tried it. Didn't work either

    • Probably your antivirus is blocking it. I was able to download it fine on my chrome. Only solution for you is to temporarily disable your antivirus.

    • Odd, because I don't have any 3rd party antivruses... I'll see if I can troubleshoot something by disabling windows defender and restarting my PC. I'll update on this reply if anything comes up

    • UPDATE- I disabled my OperaGX's Malicious Site protection, disabled my Windows Defender, managed to download the file. Activated the defender again, where it gave another error about it being a threat, But I was able to go into the Windows Defender settings and allow access to the file. So everything's working smoothly now.


      Not sure why my Windows Defender suddenly has a problem with this mod... I was able to download it just fine before.


      Ah well, it's fixed now. Still love the mod! <3

  • What is the purpose of which icon on the far right side of the menu that appears after double clicking on y?

  • a quick suggestion for more customization, maybe have a few options in the f12 menu where you can choose how long it takes for a strafe run to happen (with maybe a minimum of 5 seconds?), the length of the strafe run (which i dont know if its even possible) and the amount of rounds that go in the strafe run (for performance issues). and i dont know if you know how to do this, but since theres a third option in the wheel menu maybe it could be some sort of a mortar strike that you can call in? or maybe an apache helicopter that provides covering fire? my bad if im rambling too many ideas i really like mods and cant make shit so i rely on other people

  • I love this mod and love the spirit of insurgency that it brings. A bunch of my friends who I play with and I used to play insurgency so it feels like such a welcome return.


    I had an idea I wanted to share.


    To make calling in fire support more of a significant and special thing, what if there's a cost system? But not money.


    For the A10 strafe, it should cost one GP coin. Those were kind of pointless anyhow, but just rare enough that finding one in raid means you get to rain hell on somebody. Also, it takes some premeditation to bring one with you if you intend to use it.


    For the heli extract, I think it should cost a Labs key card. The extract feels like one of the most potentially op things, and trading access to lab for an emergency exfil seems like a sound trade-off.


    I think both of these things are more lore friendly and balanced than having a limited number of uses per raid.


    Your thoughts?

  • Any plans to make this mod compatible with fika/mpt? Right now only the person who calls in the A10 can see it, not sure about Blackhawk

    • No, I don't plan to make it compatible with Fika, too much of a headache to synchronise these vehicles across multiple clients.

  • hello, first of all thank you for your mod I love it, and I would like to know if it was possible to make it cooler like looting or buying (very expensive) the radio which allows you to do this action it would be less cheating and more fun thank you

  • The mod is wonderful! Very well done. Please tell me, can I independently change the audio tracks to Russian for those who play for BEAR or not? I'm preparing a few lines, I thought it would just be enough in the phone with the same name on my tracks, but no. :)


    If is still difficult, I can prepare all the files and write in tabular form for each audio track that replace each other :) I really want to make voicelines for those who play for BEAR in Russian.

    • No it's not really possible for you to do that on your end.

      Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll ever get to implementing faction-specific vehicle models and voicelines either.

  • Very good mod, just a little bug with rangefinder, sometimes when calling an airstrike or a blackhawk, it does it on my current location instead of the target, very good mod but lost my altyn.

    • Dunno how that could happen, also first time anyone's encountered that issue afaik

    • It happens when on roofs, or when I'm inside a building and the target is not, regardless of it's distance the air support is on me, and since the A10 op well i insta die

    • I also just had this issue happen on Shorline. Been using it for a few days and just had it happen for the first time. Still an amazing mod :)

  • Hi, I'm having trouble downloading this mod. One file is uploaded to the folder with mods and the BepInEx file. I can't even open it because of some mistake. please tell me how to solve the problem

  • when calling in the black hawk for extract, this is what i see. There's no audio from the helicopter but the extract does work, just wondering if this is known or.....

    • You're the only person telling me it's not working as intended so you'll need to provide your logs.

    • where do i find the logs? sry new to this

    • I only need the logs from your "BepInEx/LogOutput.log" and "Logs/log_<date>/... traces.log"


      You will need to run your game until you experience this issue again so the error(s) will appear in the logs (they are cleared every time you start up SPT).

    • From what I can see, your SPT has a lot of errors from not just this mod but other mods.

      Probably the errors from other mods is causing a cascading failure in your game which results in this mod breaking, because I am playing with this mod on 3.8.3 with no issue.


      I would recommend you ask for support on the SPT discord with new logs to help fix your entire SPT install.
