First Aid
- 0.7% per level to medical kit healing speed
- 1% Bonus max resource per level, 20% elite bonus.
Gain experience points by healing damage with medical kits.
There is a 60 second cooldown per limb for experience gained. This was decided because XP is calculated based on the action, not amount healed. This prevents exploitation by canceling healing and repeating the process.
Resource bonus not active on your scav, only the speed bonuses are. Once an item is return to your hideout it will be adjusted according to your PMC's first aid level.
Bonuses are only applied to items in the players inventory.
Bots are not affected by these bonuses.
Items automatically adjust on level up

- Decreases vertical and horizonal recoil by 0.4% per level on NATO assault rifles and carbines. 12% Elite bonus.
Gain experience points by hitting enemies with shots. 1.05% XP per hit.
This skill is only available to USEC to start. Bears can unlock this skill by reaching elite with their respective skill.

You can level the skill in the following ways. You can either pick a lock which grants XP to the skill as per the example below, or you can inspect locks which grants 25% of the XP for that lock level. You can only inspect each lock once per raid. I based what doors are at what level based on documentation on the wiki mostly, rooms like marked rooms are all level 20, labs key card rooms(Not implemented) are 25. Essentially the higher the level the more valuable the loot.
There are 7 levels of doors:
- level 0: grants 3.9 XP
- level 3: grants 6.5 XP
- level 5: grants 10.4 XP
- level 10: grants 13 XP
- level 15: grants 16.25 XP
- level 20: grants 19.5 XP
- level 25: grants 22.75 XP
Your chance for success depends on the door level and your skill level. Every locked and pickable door has a base chance of success of
90%
. The chance of success is calculated the following way.BaseChance + (LevelDifference * DifficultyModifier)

by default. Below is an example of how default settings behave on all lock levels at skill level5
:
- door level 0, player level 5: 90 + ( 5 x 8 ) = 130% chance of success
- door level 3, player level 5: 90 + ( 2 x 8 ) = 106% chance of success
- door level 5, player level 5: 90 + ( 0 x 8 ) = 90% chance of success
- door level 10, player level 5: 90 + ( -5 x 8 ) = 50% chance of success
- door level 15, player level 5: 90 + ( -10 x 8 ) = 10% chance of success
- door level 20, player level 5: 90 + ( -15 x 8 ) = -30% chance of success
- door level 25, player level 5: 90 + ( -20 x 8 ) = -70% chance of success
You can try and pick locks higher level than you, after 4 failed attempts the lock will break and the door will become in-operable. Lock picking requires a lock pick to be in your inventory. They can be bought from mechanic LL2 for
75000
roubles, or crafted on workbench level 1 with a set of files as a tool, and 2 medical tools as reagents.
The only per level boost that the skill gives, aside from better chance of success on doors is a speed boost per level. Currently its set to
0.6%
per level with an additional15%
at elite. The base time it takes to pick a lock is 10 seconds.
If you inspect the lock prior to picking it, you gain a 10% bonus chance to pick that lock. The first time you inspect a lock it will take 4 seconds modified by the speed boost gain per level. After doing it the first time you can just inspect the lock for free instantly. You only gain XP for the first time you inspect that lock during that raid.

Q: Will SVM adjust the levelling speed of these skills?
A: No. I implemented my own levelling system separate from BSG to implement these skills because I find theirs to be garbage and convoluted.
