Hey. I got this server error when I tried to accept the "Top of the line" quest.
The game would temporarily freeze with a spinning wheel, then "cancel" the attempt after it times out and brings me back to the main menu. -
The issue is actually fixed from hotfix of v376.1.3
That issue happen meanwhile you have accepted the quest but not received.
There are only 3 ways to fix it
1- Wipe
2- Accept the reward
3- (Advanced) Edit the profile.json and delete the quest. In this case you will be able to accept it againThey can use ProfileEditor to change the quest back to accept, IIRC.

Is there a way to make everything I bring home from a raid FiR? I am tired of looking for a particular item id on tarkov DB, to then manually change it in my profile json as FiR, after I extracted it and need it for a quest. I don't care that PMCs on live do not count as FiR, I'm not playing live for a reason.
There is a setting in ServerValueModerator that makes items bought form the flea "found in raid".

i noticed the PMC thing too, is that also in the Live game?
Yes, as the AI in SPT is simulating a live person coming into the raid with something ... thus making it all not found in raid.
The problem with SPT, is that NONE of the randomly generated loot/gear is FIR. Meaning the game doesn't differentiate between A PMCs kit they came into the raid with and loot they found.

From what I remember when I used to get that kind of error, it always related to my profile and an item being corrupted somehow. Have you tried updating and using a fresh profile?

Have you removed mods with custom items? That's another one that can cause your problem. Same with weapon presets with custom items from mods that you no longer have installed.

When I install the new version and start my game, it launches and says loading profile data but then loads infinitely.
Are there any server errors? Typically when that happens to me, there is a critical error in the server that says what happened.

I installed the mod, but not messages from system to gift the items, unless there is a timer.

Observation bias. You see people on the EFT subreddit claiming every death is a headshot without understanding probability or statistics. If you record every death in live with the body part, you may find that the majority of deaths were from headshots. This completely ignores every single shot that was stopped by armor, hit legs, arms and chest that weren't fatal. So in reality headshots are in the minority of shots that hit you. The same observation bias is happening here but for the chest. You're ignoring every time you're hit in the armor, arms, stomach or legs.
Surely this observation "sometimes my armor helps this, but other times it does not" explains it perfectly?

Armor plates cover a relatively small portion of the body, it's very easy for rounds to not hit any armor at all and 1-2 shot you. There's also a neck hitbox that's basically instant death. There isn't any issue or bug here, it's working as intended.
Bots in PACA armor do not tank 5.45 BP. 5.45 BP does 64 damage, standard bots (PMCs, Scavs) have 120 chest HP. If you hit the bot dead centre in the chest it does double damage so would be an instant kill. If you hit the bot relatively centre it's a 2 shot kill. If you whiff your shots hitting off to the side, stomach or shoulders then you're doing 70% damage, so 3 shot kill in this case. No consider for a moment your aim wasn't great or you hit them in the arms and stomach a few times, it'll probably be closer to a 5 shot kill.
I've never seen bots tank intermediary calibres (5.45, 5.56) in all my testing when the armor they're wearing is of a low rating. I've gone out of my way and spent time in the past testing to make sure there aren't bugs or wrong armor values, as I am now spending time answering these complaints again.
My only suggestion to you is to make sure you understand how armor hitzons work, and either analyse your gameplay and carefully consider if the that's the cause or just disable all the ballistics changes. But these armor hitzones are coming to EFT proper so I suggest you get used to it.
We were merely discussing it, to see if it actually was a problem by comparing results. Calling it confirmation bias and acting like we're ignoring other information is pretty inflammatory and not helpful. If multiple people report a certain event happening on a regular basis, SOMETHING is happening. Saying "it's your fault for not paying attention", instead of asking for more details, isn't going to get people to understand let alone enjoy your mod. You didn't even ask for a list of mods that may be conflicting with yours, or if we changed any settings that may have borked the mod. You just assumed your mod is at 100% functionality and that we were wrong.
You can provide answers without being so rude about it.
In a separate incident, I was nearly one-tapped in the chest by a PMC using midgrade or lower ammo and I was wearing what your mod considers upper grade armor. It was face to face at 50m and center mass. A second shot would have killed me, while he tanked 6 before finally dying. I was doing controlled semi-auto fire, with an HK416, using Warmageddon ammo. 50's pen range with 120's damage range.
The experience discussed here is similar to live where we shoot a scav at 100m with midrange quality rifle ammo and he tanks it, while we get a limb blown of by their TOZ using 7mm buckshot. It's that experience that some come here to avoid on some scale with mods, even if only partially. That's why this is so frustrating. -
Possibly, but still seems weird for it to happen not only so often but to at least 2 people with different mod lists and p[lay styles.

Ive noticed every time I die, its a one shot to my thorax, sometimes my armor helps this, but other times it does not, on the other hand pmcs will tank shot after shot with a paca, with me using a high level ammo like bp, I was wondering if this was just a bug or if a normal mechanic, thanks

I don't know, as I don't code, but that mod does a lot and is generally recommended for tweaking your game experience.

Bummer. I understand the OPs annoyance, as there are plenty of mods or mod types I would never use and being able to filter them would be awesome.

I don't know about the battery, but IIRC ... PMC loot is not FIR anymore. Unless changed by a mod.

I forgot about and then misremembered the HE requirement for metal doors. I thought it was slugs. -
I have. Randomly works. And sometimes doors can be opened after being shot twice anywhere.

How/where are we supposed to shoot the door?
I'm asking because sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't.
