    edit: realism profile doesn't give you salewa, and it's the option that disables FIR requirment that allows you to turn those in. You can turn it off.

    On that second video with the AKS-74u, the malf fix speed isn't supposed to be nearly that fast compared to me testing it just now. You said you're on SPT 3.5.0, are you also using the latest version of the mod? What other mods do you have installed?

    i've tried with several different settings, funnily enough hardcore flea works but the tiered flea doesnt. made sure its changed both in the manager and the config as well, i have no idea what could be causing it lmao

    Are you sure you didn't have "disable flea blacklist" enabled?

    With the way BSG reimplemented freelook, there's an issue with the FOV being zoomed back in to the sight's default FOV when out of freelook while aiming down sights. You can fix this in game by switching between sights or ADSing again but a more seamless transition would be a nice QoL feature.
    In the older versions, BSG didn't touch the FOV settings at all while freelooking (hence why it got disabled) so when paired with a mod that brought back freelooking in those versions, you could have seamless ADS to freelook transitions without the FOV being reset to the sight's default.

    Are you talking the bug where if you use freelook while ADSing, it'll zoom in a bit? Yeah it's a weird free QoL feature, I'll look into how to make it toggleable.

    The actual G36 burst irl is 2 rounds, so it being 2 round is fine either way.

    well HK offers it in a bunch of configurations, from 2-3 burst to just semi-fullauto. IIRC the German army version has no burst.


    the latest hotfix may have broken the tiered fleamarket setting, i have it enabled yet i can buy everything off the flea at lvl 17, could not do it on last hotfix.

    In one of your updates you integrated support for some of SamSwats weapons. This is in regards to the shotguns. They all have very low accuracy in the 100s and 70s. I could be wrong but I am assuming they do not normally have accuracy that low. It does pretty much make them unusable except at point blank. This could be intentional, but if not I figured I would mention it. This also could be an issue with his weapons and not this mod, if so I will raise the issue with him.

    Yeah Sam updated his mods in such a way that just broke compatibility for some reason, it is what it is. I'll do my best to work around it and get it working soon again.


    Honestly, you do great with it, every build now feels more unique, I feel more invested on building weapons with this mod, I much prefer this type of balance of give and take to the original EFT systems where it's significantly more basic and certain things are straight up better.

    The effort you put in the details is wild, respect.

    2-3 replies or so above they said the SamSWAT mods broke compatibility due to 3.5.0 changes, the FAMAS and such also don't work properly either, they'll fix them in the next patch.


    Thanks man I appreciate it. My intent is for their to not be a straight up meta for all guns, or meta guns, but for each weapon to be usable and have its own unique builds, problems and mechanics as much as possible

    Hello, I am not using any bot config options as I have did not edit anything, and yes im using the latest version. I get this error when I launch the server.exe. This happens every single time unless I remove the mod

    I can't reproduce this at all. Maybe try uninstalling the mod completely, downloading it again, and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling SPT itself.

    I am on 0.7.1, and noticed that Fence could have suspiriously lower level of price he can swing down.
    For you to understand HOW cheap: keytool for 47k, GPU for 24k, map for 10k, nade case for 55k, etc. Technically EVERYTHING you buy from Fence you can sell to him for much bigger price than you wasted to buy.
    Previously I remember Fence only selling for unimaginably higher than default prices. Is it some sort of intended and extremely rare interaction opposite to for example ammo prices skyrocketing or unintended?


    AFAIK nothing I do should change Fence's prices, it *might* be an SPT thing in general. Which of the trader config options are you using? (hardocre flea, tiered flea, trader changes).

    Sounds like some mod is conflicting with your mastery. 1st level for pistols is 800 and not 75, 1st level for AK family is 400. None of them have a level one XP of 200. There's no way you'd get even 50 xp in 2-3 raids.


    Quests I leave for other people to fix, that's outside of the scope of this mod. Quests are constantly changing, unfortunately I just have way too much on my plate to deal with as it is.


    As for keys, I have some people saying their are way too many keys on bots and others saying they're too hard to find :D I can try to add keys to fence though. I want to change Fence up a bit more but I just didn't have the time yet.

    Kinda curious, due to how the combined mastery is, would using a VSS count to quests that rely on AKMs?

    I don't *think* so, as far as I know quests explicitly list the weapons that are valid for the condition, but I could be wrong.


    Figured out it was a bug. It was a hard one to figure out because a new profile doesn't have the issue when you first create it, and my dev profile is high level so it's hard to notice :S It's fixed now anyway, apologies for that.


    I'll need to know what mods you are using, config options (if not running defaults), SPT version.

    Turns out Sam rewrote his mod a bit for 3.5.0 so it's no longer compatible (it was while I was developing for 3.5.0 ;() Hopefully I can get it working again.

    i got a bit of a goofy bug going, whenever i wear a face shield i can't ADS. no matter if its up or down, or if i have the ADS faceshield patch enabled or disabled. it lets me "ADS" in the sense that i drain arm stamina and my sensitivity gets changed, but i still have the view as if im firing from point-fire. tested it with several faceshields and they all give me the same issue, nothing game breaking, if anything it just adds another thing to think about if i want face protection :D


    The only goofy thing is me, that's fixed and will be in another hotfix ASAP. Thanks for letting me know.

    Thanks for the kind words :) Can't say I've had issues like this myself. Either way that would be 3.5.0/patch 13 issue and I recommend testing it without mods and if you still have issues to report it to the devs. The switching thing has always been an issue and is also an issue with live's offline mode if I recall correctly


    Hi I need steps to reproduce this, like what map and time at least. What bot config options are you using? And I assume you're using latest version of the mod on SPT 3.5.0? Is it happening every time or some of the time?

    Ahh, I get it, it was that way because I accidentally put the GS-5B while building instead of my MK12 GB, the amount of malfunctions made me check the barrel first in the mod data and I assumed a typo about it since similar barrels didn't have such a rating.

    Sorry lol, I assumed the patch notes with reduced malfunctions was supposed to fix this and you forgot that barrel, turns out it was my very borked build as I forgot to check buffers, old habits die hard.


    Don't sweat it man, it's a bit of a convoluted mechanic :D just trying to make weapon modding and some weapons more unique and in-depth and true to life, still need to find the right balance for all of it. For an SBR M4 really you need the MK12, you might get by with the standard triangle gas block + a suppressor or muzzle device that has high malf reduction + buffer like the A2 or the new one that came with patch 13. For the next patch or so I'll add better ammo and magazine malf chance stats that actually reflect the odds better.

    Sorry don't know what you mean, I'll need more detail. In what way do they not aim properly? Do you mean they don't ADS at all? If that's the case you're probably trying to use a faceshield or mask that doesn't allow ADS. You can disable this feature with the in-game config.

    I think trader changes is behaving differently than the previous updates. The scarcity thing is still working as it used to, but at least for me, the changes to what traders will buy from you are not working. I'm used to selling tech stuff (SAS and SSD Drives) to mechanic, I'm pretty sure I could sell that stuff to him before in 3.4.1, but he no longer buys them. Is this something you can reproduce? Let me know what I need to give you if you want to further look into it. Thanks so much for working on this mod, you deserve a break. MVP of SPT modding for sure.


    It's not just you. Nothing changed on my end, either it's an SPT bug or BSG changed something. I'll let the devs know and hopefully they can sort it out, thanks for letting me know. And you're right, time to take a break :sleeping:

    Does M855a1 have like insanely high misfeed chances? im running a ak102 at 87% with a suppressor and its jamming once every 1-2 magazines almost(yes im firing full auto), or is it the suppressor?


    This might not matter anymore, as this was pre hotfix btw

    Latest hotfix has halved the malfunction chance of ammo and magazines. Weapons above 98% durability have half the malfunction chance, this threshold can be lowered in config. Check the stats of attachments, suppressors have a reduced malfunction chance with the trade-off of higher durability burn. There might be something wonky going on with some ammo, I'm looking into that rn. Let me know if the hotfix didn't help.

    That's not quite how malfunction chances are calculated in EFT. A standard M4A1 with 260mm barrel, colt buffer and gasblock, reliable mags and ammo will jam once in a while but not every shot. With the MK12 gasblock the 260mm barrel has a malfunction chance of 0.


    Do read the patch notes and check attachment's stats and descriptions for explanations. I replied to someone earlier in the thread about their M4 build that was pretty much as unreliable as you could make it :D, there's some info there too.

    Don't know what to tell you, tiered flea works on me end. Either your config file is set to read-only, or you have another mod that's interfering. There was another use who had this issue, not sure if they resolved it, but I can't replicate it on my end.


    Patch 13 has made bots more difficult for both live EFT and SPT, I don't change bots in that way so they'll act mostly like how they do in normal EFT/SPT, I just change the odds of behaviour patterns that are already in the game.

    Seems something in SPT Realism is causing gun sounds to be super low and muffled. Did some testing and can confirm it is coming for this mod.

    Are you wearing a headset? I've reduced how much they muffle gunshots now with the latest hotfix. They'll still reduce gunshot volume significantly compared to normal EFT, like they're supposed to. Different headsets have different amounts of noise reduction. Sordins have the least. I'll add their noise reduction ratings to stats in a later version.
