Use Loose Loot 1.1.2

Use meds and food direct from the world instead of only your pockets. ;)

Are you tired of having to drag that Alyonka into your inventory in order to taste its chocolatey delight? Are you tired of bleeding out because you have to shuffle your pockets to fit that Car medkit you just found? Look no further, friend, than this mod.


Food items will be entirely eaten with the "Use" prompt; meds will be used as if you had done so from your inventory screen. If med resources are left after usage, the loose item will remain where it is so you can use it again.

    Note: The previous version still worked with 3.7.0, it just showed an error that wasn't accurate. This build resolves that

  • Is there any way to make it so that when you use the item in the world it disappears but when you cancel the animation have it go back to where it originally was? It would make more sense because you are picking up the item to use it...so why would it still be there?

    • Probably some way to do that, but not worth the effort in my opinion

    • Well i mean it is a good mod regardless but it would add to the realism aspect of it.

  • Haha, I noticed that error, but also saw that it was just a version targeting error and that it still worked in game, so I didn't really care. Just figured it was due to it being compat for both 70 and 71

  • Great mod, Why it is not in the base game, this is stupidly "realistic" that you can not take anything in hands.

  • 1 plugin not loaded check console for errors.

    I didn't see this in Bepnx menu and once I remove this I don't get the error mssg.

    Sorry i don't know what cosole to check for errors.

    If means the server console then error I got was for Realism not finding profile or something.

    Again, I don't get Realism error after removing this one from plugins.

  • unrelated but is it possible to make a mod that makes you not automatically close containers when you exit their inventory? I always get scared by a duffel bag zipping up when im already 10ft away and it never made sense that your pmc would take the time to close everything
