Reupload of SamSwat's Increased Fov mod: "you can have wider FOV"

See the original mod page for details, this is just a reupload: Increased FOV

I will try to keep this updated best I can but no promises. I cannot offer support for this mod as it isn't mine.

  • thanks for the mod update

i thought i will use it on at least 90, but turns out i barely see anything in the middle, if i set it too high, and i guess it impacts performance too, so i just reseted it :/

  • I LOVE YOU PAPA

  • Not sure why but the HUD fov values aren't sticking...like you can see them take effect real time but instantly revert too.

    • use the slider in FOV FIx

  • I really hope an update of this mod is coming soon. I have become reliant on this mod, and playing with the vanilla 75 is TAXING

    • fov in tarkov is vertical which most games dont use, 75 fov in tarkov is 107 fov in most other games

  • what is different from your FOV FIX & VARIABLE OPTICS mod?

    • This affects FOV when not aiming. Lets you increase FOV higher than 75, and allows you to move your player camera backwards or forwards which makes the gun appear bigger or smaller

  • Thank you for the update bugcatchillin bugcatchillin

  • If you really really need that FOV, you could use the tarkymenu at Nexus, but y'know. No support for anything.

  • This mod desperately needs an update

  • Does anyone know of any mod that adjust hud fov above normal values

  • FOV F12 settings for var zoom

I've checked the config menu and looked at the variable zoom section and selected settings that seem like they would fix the problem (vudu not working at all) but it doesn't seem to be functioning.

Var zoom enabled, smooth zoom enabled, no mouse wheel involvement, but when I hold the zoom-in key the scope only moves to precisely 1.1x from 1x and then cannot be changed anymore in either direction. I don't have the Vudu overhaul so that box is disabled. When the default keybinds, num+/-, were used, it functioned normally except for loud beeps that played when the buttons were pressed. I checked my accessibility settings in Windows but all of the key sounds are disabled so I'm not sure what's going on with that either.

I did ensure to unbind ` natively so that it's only used for the variable zoom control

    • this isn't the right mod page. You installed and configured the mod incorrectly, check the mod's instructions.

    • I'm clearly really good at this, only two incorrect mod pages :). I am however certain I didn't install the mod incorrectly, perhaps I configured it wrong but the above changes are the only ones I made. Upon changing the keybinds to be back on the numpad everything works fine. Makes absolutely zero sense

  • thank you!
