All thermal scopes have "unlimited" range.

(about 5000m, might be shorter depending on the color palette).


Flir has been buffed significantly, now it performes better than Zeus and REAP-IR.

  • This may seem strange coming from me, but do not rely on thermal scopes too much.

    It takes away a good portion of the experience that is at the core of the gameplay.


    The goal of this mod is not to make you use thermal scopes on every raid, but rather when you do find them, be rewarded with an amazing force multiplier that gives you the proper advantage, but also the thrill and fear of losing it.

  • The real question is: does this clarify the t-7 image and fix its refresh rate?

    • T-7 is not a thermal scope, its coded differently.

      a while ago in aki 2 something there was a mod taht removed refresh rate caps from all thermals including t7,but unlike urs it didnt increase the detection range so i was wondering if that feature can be added

    • That was my discontinued mod, there were also some others that had similar features. But due to changes needed in coding, i didnt get to learn those yet. but because there is no unity bundle with scope for the thermal scope, so i woudnt know how to increase the range anyway.

  • Thermal ranges are fixed, all thermal scopes now have "unlimited" range.

  • Thank you for this. I didn't dislike Borkel's, but this is vastly better for me from a game play perspective. I was using the Zeus pretty much exclusively but now I can use the FLIR and ECHO as my primaries.

    • And you can somehow increase the display distance in the thermal imager so that it would be up to 2 km in real life ?

  • is there any way you could also make the t-7 thermal nods clear of the pixelation, i've tried a few other mods but its got it own problems, they don't make it better.

  • Is this mod needed if I use Borkel's Big Realistic Thermal Package - Bring real life realism to your thermal scopes ? Just curious if I can get an added benefit of using this mod as well.

    • you can use either or i belive, but not together. they replace the same file.

  • is this mod a joke? lol its the shiba inu on the gun? how do i fix this?

    • Shiba inu is actually a feature of Tarkov.
      If a texture fails to load correctly, the Doge will be displayed instead.
      Google it if you don't believe me.
