  • Hey Rex, newest version of Realism (1.3.0) seems to break some of the weapon stats now. I'm not sure what is broken exactly, but now the WoS has a pitiful starting ergonomics of just 39, compared to ~50 before the 1.3.0 update. Can you look into this? Thanks

    • Oh, your EDC X9 and CZ 75's stats are all wack also with this update fwiw. 100 mobility and a MOA of 5.4 on the EDC X9 for example

    • lol, i didn't write the realism compatibility patch for WoS. I'll ask around.

    • try adding "aaa" to the wages of sin folder name to make it load before Realism if you haven't already.

    • ah yeah, mb I forgot that you didn't write the patches. As for load order, I already have your mod loaded before Realism for compability

  • the mod is still here, but called KMC weapons. there are some other cool guns that you can bring back too that's there, such as the RM-277

    • the plastic case ammo gun? ehhh....

    • The cool part isn't really the plastic casing, that isn't really interesting. However the round it shoots does have hit power comparable to the .308 cartridge, and in real life it recoils nothing like a .308 gun. That's the interesting part, high velocity armor piercing .277 TVCM and you get about the same recoil as an M4 if not less, at 600 RPM.

      it could also fire from an open or closed bolt, but id imagine there's no reason to model that unless we can get cooling bonuses if it's fired from an open bolt, thought with a delayed trigger time (id imagine it's a pain to model though.)

    • "delayed trigger time" probably all but impossible. Kinda the same reason an AN94 will never happen.

    • yeah really sad.. if the AN-94 is ever in the game it would have just the burst mode (like in some other mods that tried to make an AN-94 analog with a cloned AK74M) and nothing full auto. really weird stuff.

      BTW KMC weapons have an AN-94 too that just has burst, it's pretty nice already xd

  • Hey Rexana, realism patch works well, but I just found out, that the Wilson EDC X9 is no longer recognized, meaning it´s no longer in the weapon mastering list... The json for both guns is in the "put new stuff here" folder in the realism-mod-folder....


    Another question, would it be possible to change the slot of the handstop to an additional 'mount'-slot which could take either the handstop or some equipment?

    • it's possible by just adding IDs of other attachments into the filter under "mod_mount_002" in the handguard section of the .json.


      As for the Realism stuff, i have no idea, i'd have to ask someone else what to do about that. I don't make the realism patch, i just push it.

    • it'll look goofy if it's just the attachments though, as the handguard is keymod. might just give it a pic rail piece that accepts attachments, if that makes sense.

    • So the mastery itself is not necessary for WTT-weapons to work with realism? Mastery isn´t that important, I want to work weapons with realism...


      Funny thing, tried what you told me about the mount slot... My thought was, your weapon has a very slim handguard, I didn´t want to have a bulky laser on it. I wanted to have a laser centered under the barrel, not in a slot at the side of the handguard. (Just my idea of symmetry... :S Should talk to my shrink... X/ ) I added the little 2'' rail to the handstop slot... What happened is, the little rail is not under, but INSIDE the handguard, with the small blue laser attached, it is also inside and the laser beam comes right out of the handguard... But, there is no attachment disturbing this beautiful gun....

  • I'm trying to add these to leave's Shiny Airdrop Guns via config

    but I can't find a weapon ID that works anywhere in the files.

    • ask whoever made Shiny's to do it

    • Heres a good tip. Realism patches always have the weapon IDs in them for database. You can pull all of them from there. I don't use shinys anymore because I couldnt get it to be compatible with realism (it converts the weapons to use normal stats instead of realism stats which is just not good.)

  • im keep getting the error that the Live Flea Market price for the gun is not Updating and it costs 1 Rouble at the flea for me. is That normal?

      Think, why would the LIVE EFT FLEA have a price for the Wages of Sin AR.


      does this gun exist in vanilla Escape From Tarkov.

  • Found something you might want to fix as i dont think its intentional. With the stock gun, you can replace the handgrip with the HERA CQR stock while the guns original stock is still attached resulting in a whopping almost 20 recoil.

    • I added as many IDs as my fingies would allow. mostly stuff from Epic's.

  • Will bots spawn with your custom weapons?

    • it will likely just be attachments. getting bots to use a whole gun is a different story.

    • So they can't spawn with ACR for example? :/

    • exactly. but they could spawn with an M4 that has the WoS handguard

    • If you get Algorithmic Level Progression and it loads after this mod PMCs *can* spawn with them. In fact my last raid one of them had the red variant of this!

    • Redcore does have some red attachments, their textures are inconsistant tho, redcore is much darker.

      To be honest, first thing I thought, this is just another kiddie gun which kind of appear at many shooters. I tried it out and have to confess, I like it, the handling with the sound make it great to play! Thank you again for your work!

  • a strange bug, when using this weapon, I can't see the compass

    • it's right there at the bottom of your screen

    • Look, as soon as I pick up a weapon from your mod, the compass disappears from my hand, I only see the hand itself. Any other gun (mk16 in the screenshot ) the compass is visible with it =)

    • I have no idea as all the left hand animations should be in the bundle. idk why it's doing that.

    • However, the problem is only with this new weapon....

  • Hello, I am getting the 'Failed to read JSON value for TaxonomyColor. TokenType -> String, Value -> "Blue"


    I believe you have to use 'blue' instead of 'Blue' due to Color Converter API.

    • Hotfix incoming. For now, change Blue to blue in the item's json.

      All of our standalone mods are lightweight and made to work with most other mods. They do not require anything.

  • This looks so cool! By the way, the Desert tech HTI and SRS would make a fine addition to Tarkov. If people in the WTT team is interested. Those would be really neat.
