Port of Lirikana's mod that allows for an actual armor plate system for tarkov with interchangeable plates that cover various body parts


Requires the weapon library and the armor library to function!

  • got a trace error running this on 2.2.3. Not sure why.

  • Is there any way to make bots use plates?

    • try using it with Finn's AI tweaks and see if the AI will wear them

    • still nope. They put plate inside armor rig pocket, if there is any 2x2, but not inside armor

  • Hey man any idea on how i might fix my issue below? Happy to fiddle with the jsons myself

    • I think the fix would be removing the items from peacekeepers inventory, making them purchaseable on the flea only. But thats a bit beyond my understanding.


      I removed the lines that adds the plates to his iventory from the json and that stopped the error appearing but the plates were only obtainable through bots and the name of the items read "level_7_steel" instead of "Level 7 Steel" if you catch my drift

    • Ok, I'll keep that in mind, but I want to at least try to repair it first if somethings wrong with the assorts, but if that fails then I'll make a work-around


      Also, can you send me a codepaste of the logs that show this issue and tell me if the server returns any trace errors

    • so heres the full message from the logs, the error in my first post appears in game when selecting peacekeeper. no trace errors or anything concerning on the server though and nothing in the ingame console

  • Getting this error when using the mod on 2.2.0. It pops up when i try to trade with peacekeeper. Stops his inventory from loading.

    This error is completely related to KMC Weapons. First of all, I thought it might be Gear related, but it's not. I got results by experimenting. I'm starting to get this error with KMC Weapons version 1.2.4 However, if I install the max KMC Weapons 1.0.9 version, I don't have the slightest problem. I couldn't solve this error for a long time.


    I also wrote under the KMC title, but we could not find a solution there either. Something that has been added or changed between KMC 1.0.9 and 1.2.4 is likely conflicting. Any chance of solving this? I want to use the new version of KMC Weapon but I don't want to give up your mod. I'm currently managing using version 1.0.9, but I'll be glad if it's resolved.

    • Yeah, u right. Deleted all mods and still had this

    • youre prob gonna need to rebuild aki cause its an issue for item generating

    • Rebuildet it fully, and got same problem with mods i played normally for a mounth

    • Also maybe you know what to do with this error?


  • Ohh, this seems very interesting. Since you were the one who ported Yim's armor/pen changes, do you use these together or are they not compatible?

    • they should work together

    • They do technically work together, but the plates are added and valued by Liri, so they are vanilla armor levels rather than Yim's adjusted armor values. Oh well, I will just have to run a profile without Yim's!


      Also, not sure if you care (I know you just ported it), but there is an armor plate item in the game already that could be used for the icon graphic/model.
