  • Hey, if you're willing to copy someone else's homework, the Stonewall helmet mod works in a very similar way to how the old Holtzman shield worked. I tried editing it to make it fit in the armor slot instead of needing the helmet but I still have a lot to learn on the modding front.


    Still no rush, sorry if it comes off as me trying to pressure you, just wanted you to see the stonewall mod since it's pretty close. Hope you have a good one!

  • I don't mean to press the issue (says the guy pressing the issue) but does an update to this mean the Holtzman shield is getting an update soon? I do like feeling like a demigod occasionally, and modifying armor directly has the downside of bots having the same god-armor. Either way thanks for the update!

    • I'm hoping to have the kinks worked out with the new armor changes sometime this week, but it's proving to be difficult for my smooth brain... so I'm not sure I can give you an accurate ETA.

      I started messing with items.json last night because im a dirty cheater and yeah, they changed the format on a ton of stuff. Better in some ways, things like accuracy, ergo and recoil are all consolidated now (at least for grips and foregrips), but the armor was too complicated for me to figure out and mess with. Thanks for the quick reply!

  • Probably haven't looked at this in a while, but if you get the chance, can you change category to client mods to avoid confusion for people getting this for use with Holtzman?

    • are you building from source or did my build get borked somewhere and now you're seeing an error?

    • I just uploaded a rebuilt binary if you'd like to try it.
      Version 321.0.1 should also still work if you'd rather revert to an earlier version.

    • it's giving me the error of Mod (jbs4bmx-ArmbandCore_325.0.1) is missing package.json.

      which i get from most downloads but they seem to resolve themselves.

      i'm fairly new to this so reverting to an earlier version may be a task for me lol
