    It seems they changed Fence's structure in 3.1.0, and I didn't notice. Appreciate you pointing it out!

    Is it still impossible to reduce the number of grenades from bots?

    At the moment this isn't something FAIT can do itself, mostly because the 'Gear' tab is already gigantic and I don't want to bloat it with more options, but it is possible to do via the method GaRRuSS described.


    Is it possible to set progressive both to not start with class 4-5 armor from lvl 1 ? I have a feeling that the tactical rigs lvl 4-5 aren't blacklisted for early levels, same with some ammo.

    I'm currently looking at Progressive Gear's balance, so some of that may change soon, though at the moment it's only PMCs who should have a reasonable (I believe it's about a 1/12 chance?) chance of having class 5 armor below about level 20, as that seemed in-line with Live, given that it can be found in stashes and airdrops. -However it is intended that PMCs and Raiders will always have high-tier ammo, so that finding a Gzhel in a stash doesn't make you invincible, and that's not something I'm currently planning to change.

    Hey Fin, noob question here, I just tried to get into FAIL and found maybe half of the attributes I do not understand, I've already been through the readme txt file but it doesn't seem to have any descriptions about attributes, just wondering if I'm missing something here.

    I'm afraid I don't have a file that fully describes all the settings (And the current 'default' template doesn't even use the full range of settings bots have available), as the names are the ones BSG has set them to. FAIT has some notes I took about a few of them in its changeAI function (Though they're very old, and all based off my observations so they may well be wrong), but unfortunately the only way to get a grasp on the bot settings is really intuiting what the name might mean, and trial and error.

    do the spawn options alter boss spawn locations? and if so is there any option I can tick to keep the vanilla spawns for bosses?

    Boss spawn locations should only be altered if you do some very specific things inside of the advanced spawn config file, so you should be okay.

    The current format of the miscellaneous_items_to_add_to_bot_inventories hasn't been properly updated. It seems I forgot to drag that into the release .rar.

    The default miscellaneous_items_to_add_to_bot_inventories entry is meant to look like this:

    And that line returns "enter_bot_name_here".


    Bots will only spawn with a SecondPrimaryWeapon if there are weapon IDs in that part of their inventory, which by default there aren't for almost all bots.

    Hi, got the following bug on a Woods raid, that I believe led to no bot spawning:


    EDIT: apparently I didn't have the latest patch for FAIT, but I'll let this here in case.

    As you said, this seems to be just an out of date version. Let me know if the bug still occurs when using 1.24.0d, but I believe this issue was fixed in.. ..0c? Or 0b. One of the two! I do appreciate the detailed report, however :>

    Bots do not appear on version 3.1.1, not on 3.1.0. I install one of your mods and everything on the cheat version, there are no bots on any map for a long time, tell me what to do????Without this mod I can play at all (((

    I'm having an issue where no Scav, Raider, Rogue or PMC bots are spawning in my raids. Bosses and their followers spawn, but nothing else. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

    It seems like the transition of the BEAR default bot type is causing some issues. Expect it fixed in 1.24.0d, which ought to be sometime tomorrow.

    Okay, nevermind my issue, I think I solved it be reinstalling the mod.


    I think what caused the issue was that I installed FAIT and configured it before even starting up Tarkov for the first time and that may have caused the errors I was seeing. After a clean install, it seemed to have fixed it. Sorry for wasting y'all time.

    No worries. You'd probably downloaded FAIT 1.24.0a or 1.24.0b. The error was fixed in 1.24.0c, which came out about.. Five ish hours ago? So when you got a fresh download you got the bug fix ^ ^.
