    So.. I had to remove the transparent 5.56 magazine. It caused game crashes and other problems. This makes it important to clear any mention of this id in your profile.json: 668aaaeb9af267a137cc379b , take a backup of your profile before making any changes. If you know you don't have this magazine in your stash or in any saved weapon preset, you can install this TGC version as normally.


    This release comes with a Realism patch. Only install the SPT-Realism folder if you run the mod Realism. Install into user/mods.

    • Balanced barter for 6 ARC ammo.
    • Updated SIG Tango scope materials and made the two reticles much brighter.
    • Updated M16 handguard with new texture and added more customization options.

    • Added a config file for error that could occur when using "remove secure container filters". Set the value of "PouchesInSecureContainer" in TGC config file to false if you use this option in SVM and get Filter error. If you're not, leave it at default.

    If you want Painter services tab (buying clothing from Tactical Gear Component) then you have to install this mod and add the json file in the Trader folder that you find in the zip of Painter. Now you can buy clothing and use them. BSG changed so you now need a client plugin for trader services. It sucks I know but there is no way around it. Make sure to install TraderServicesFix into BepInEx/plugins. NOT user/mods.

  • Hi Moxo, how can I make a belt disappear from the armband slot after death? The "pack 'n' strap" mod can do this, but I haven't found a way to do it in tgc. I wouldn't want belts to act as a second secure container.

  • Hey, I really like the stuff this mod adds. Sadly, it breaks magazine presets. I found this through a bit of digging in Discord and Reddit, it seems that items in your inventory where the ItemID does not follow the Mongoid scheme (seemingly random numbers and letters) breaks magazine presets. It's really strange. I looked through the db files of all my mods to find the one causing it. Deleting this and Painter solved the issue for me. Just wanted to let you know, I have never used Mongo DB and have no idea how hard it would be to fix this.

  • Love the mod, but why did you decide to blacklist armor and helmets from flea market?

    • Because I'm to lazy to add default presets for every armor and helmet. That can change for SPT 3.10. Maybe I will add them.

    • If it does not involve deep work with unity, I could help with that (I am too lazy to do Painter quests to unlock everything (still definetely will do lmao))

    • It's only Json and I'm always open for help.

  • The clothes in the mod aren't showing up for me? I cant seem to get the M90 pants to show up under Painter's services. I don't know what I would be missing for it to work. Current version 1.1.6 and 3.9.8 SPT

  • For some reason it will not let me buy the X99 red flannel shirt. Is there a way to add it to my profile with the spt profile editor?

  • I did see there are files for realism mod but when i add this mod scavs are broken they spawn without body's

    • You figure out what they are for exactly? The error for missing a package.json in the Server is making me question if I need it or not.

      Q: Why is there a folder called SPT-Realism in the archive?

      A: Do not install that folder if you're not running the Realism mod.


      So honestly my guess is your load order maybe or conflicting mod. With this being an item mod, it shouldn't change anything to do with AI etc?

  • I noticed that the items in this mod have ids like this "CCG_SOHPC_BLK" is that what breaks the load ammo from preset function?

    • I will convert all my IDs to MongoID for the next SPT version.

  • Hello, I'm getting "Error converting value "CCG_AR_PISTOLGRIP_1" to type 'EFT.MongoID'. Path 'Slots[0]._props.filters[0].Filter[30]', line 1 position 14266."


    I'm playing at EFT 0.15 with SPT 3.9 (no mods or plugins for testing) but was getting same error when I was playing 0.14. Plus if only Painter is in the mods folder i get infinite loading.

    • Are you playing on Bleeding Edge? If not open config.json in TGC directory and set to false. You installed the mods inside user/mods?

    • IDK what is bleeding edge so I probably dont? (Win 11 PC)

      As for installation directory, yes I have "Moxopixel-TacticalGearComponent" located in mods.


      Just tested with "PouchesInSecureContainer: false" and still have "Error converting value" for CCG PISTOL GRIP 1 as in my previous comment but different error in Logs.


      In server CMD there was no errors, not even about the SVM conflict.


      Mods used are Painter, TGC and SVM with no pouches in secure containers or Special slots.

  • I was trying to take screenshots with Freecam to show off my kit and noticed that the AVS Multicam tactical rig appeared unusually bright and stood out like a sore thumb. Is this a bug that has to do with EFT lighting or something else?

    • It would be interesting to see it without modded top and lower clothes. But yes it's a bit too bright. I never use free cam so all my textures are optimized to look good on the player when in menus.

    I saw the belts and fell in love with them instantly.
    I love how you can use them in the armband slot.
    I know the pockets work as a sort of faux-container.
    Is there a way to make the belt system be able to be equipped as pockets?

    • Thank you! Happy you find the mod useful :) I don't really know but I would guess it's not possible because belts use skin scripts like armband does. So equipping it in pockets would need a client mod. Not worth the hassle and I don't do that type of stuff.

  • Thank you for the change to the helmets that have the built in headphones already. Idk when u updated it but you used to have to put normal headphones on them and they'd look weird colliding. and just now ive been trying to put headphones on and it wouldn't let me, and then i realised the helmet highlights green and headphones are now and attachment for them. *chefs kiss*

    i have recently run into an error that occurs after initially starting the server and the game from the launcher. it looks like a similar message from a previous error i was getting which was quickly resolved by downloading the mod again since a fix had been added but I've tried that and it still happens. it doesn't look game breaking but I'm wondering if anyone has any insight.


    i didn't notice it the first time and had already played a game then saw it. at that time there was a recurring wall of error messages that just continued to repeat. i unfortunately didn't take a screenshot of it but decided to redownload this mod, painter, and the 4 'cores' mods. then i started the server and played another game. the wall of error messages didn't happen but i did get this small message again.


    any information would be greatly appreciate and i apologize if it is a simple fix that i am missing.

  • I absolutely love this mod! Amazing work, so many trader mods and lacking at the moment, really appreciate the quality of this mod!


    Is there a file I can edit to make it so that painters items are more balanced?


    For instance, I can by a Crye Precision JPC for 85k roubles from Painter, but I can then sell it for double with Ragman.

  • Howdy. Not sure why, even with a new profile I'm still seeing a mention of that disabled transparent mag. The first time I saw the message in the server, the game froze and crashed (Factory - 3.9.4 profile that was affected by the mod before the new update here, did remove any trace from profile json though), and the second time the framerate tanked for a bit (GZ - 3.9.8 new profile, no mention of the ID in the profile), however returned to normal assuming the bot that had the item was killed (though I was unable to find said bot or item, and it happened mid raid)?

    • If the mod doesn't load the bundle (ie upgrading tgc version and removing the mag from all inventories AND user presets) there shouldn't be any transparent mag generating on bots. Make sure to remove everything in user\cache too. Just delete the js files there. They will be regenerated when you start the game.

      As an aside, I guess this mag issue is a strange one. First time I encountered that mag in game there was no issue, I was looking at it in-world (dead bot with gun in hand) on the ground thinking it was an odd-looking mag. Wasn't until I opened his inventory, and the image didn't load that the issues started. Trying to inspect soft locked the UI/menus. From there issues as per above. Maybe that tidbit helps you to troubleshoot it in future.

  • For anyone having issues with "Assorted" errors, even having Painter installed, you need to use a load order mod to change the load order so that painter is loaded before those mods, I was having the issue for awhile and fixed it with "https://hub.sp-tarkov.com/files/file/1082-loe-load-order-editor/"

  • Been absolutely loving this mod, only thing I'd say is the foregrips feel really overpowered for how cheap they are. Like they have objectively the best stats in the game and can be bought for half the price of the vanilla meta grips, there's basically no point in running anything else if you want to maximize ergo/recoil on a build. I do like how they feel though, maybe just make them much more prohibitively expensive so there's still a reason to run vanilla grips too?

    • Yes you're right. I maybe will increase the pricing a bit. But I always keep one best in the game across the board because if not, people don't use them as much. As a content creator you kinda want people to show your items in as many videos and screenshots to reach more people.

  • Think you could make a set of MP7 ironsights that are folded? Theyre still usable folded down, and it mildly annoys me that we have no option for that. Thank you for adding that reversed BCM foregrip though, love this mod

    • Hello, there is a mod that does this but it's not updated. It's not that hard to update. I will not do it though. But changing all mentions of aki to spt in mod.ts and sptVersion instead of akiVersion in package.js is enough to get it working. Folded Down MP7 Irons
