Compatibility patch for some mods

Hey Everyone,
I spend my all day to make some mods compatible with the lastest Realism 1.2.1 release.
It's not perfect, maybe you will find some mistakes , but if you are lazzy, and want one or all of these mod works with realism, feel free to try it.


Obviously, it's just a patch, so you need Realism mod and one (or as many as you want) of these original mods.

This is the list of all compatible mods:

How to Install:


Drag and drop user folder into your SPT root


Realism have to be last in load order.


Don't ask my for specific patch, I don't have time.

  • IMPORTANT:

    Realism Preset system is not needed anymore, so
    Go into user/mods/SPT-Realism and run RealismModConfig
    In Recoil & Presets, select "Realism" for everything.
    Load every patched mods before Realism.
    For other weapon/armor mods, load them after Realism. Could work just fine like this for recolore/skin mods.

  • Would this work with realism 1.1.2? I can't be bothered to update realism for now so if it'd work with older version I'd be very much happy

    • No is not, you need 2.0.0 version. In realism.exe (inside realism mod folder), You have to select compatibility preset

    • Ah damn, gotta update the whole game then. But if i stay on 2.0.0, im guessing raid overhaul wasn't implemented back then?

  • Should note Version 2.0.1 is packaged slightly incorrectly.

    For users getting errors; put the SPT-Realism folder into user/mods.

  • Is a patch for Tactical Gear Component included in the current version (2.0.1)? I just wanted to clarify, since it was compatible in previous versions, but not included in the list that reads "This is the list of all compatible mods."

    Thanks for all your hard work! SPT wouldn't be nearly as fun for me without realism, and these updates make it possible to have a bunch of cool gear as well.

  • im assuming realism just needs to load after this rather than being last correct?

    • Load Realism after patched mods.
      For other, you should load them after Realism, especially Armor mods

  • Add DJ's Raid Overhaul (just moved his own preset into the right folder) < what exactly i need to do?

    • Copy past user folder into your SPT root, and make sure every preset are set on Realism into Realism.exe.

  • Any way to make the Pack N' Strap compatible? Not enjoying the -12% comfort assigned to the belts lol

    • seing confort stats, means it's already compatible, and I really don't have a time to work on it right now

  • Btw gotta ask on how can i edit the sig spear's ammo stats?? Tried looking on src/ballistics/ammo.ts

    Already edited the ash 12 ammo. just kinda lost on where can i edit 6.8x51 ammo. Already tried putting in the needed lines of code

  • Im having problems wit the .14 preview. When sprinting with the Spear the gun randomly glitches out and goes off screen to the left. Realism seems to be the culprit as it works fine without. Ive done as instructed moving realism to the back of the LO and switching the presets to compatibility.

    Havent tested the other guns but will do so later.

  • hello, could you consider adding tokarev mod 1 extreme compat patch? It features new weapon variants, mods, and at least 1 new bullet in the newest patch, and I noticed the new guns (all TT variants) feel super wonky to use with realism, unlike the regular TT. You already added the shak-12 kit mod compatibility which was made by the same dev, so I figured I could ask. Thanks for your work.

  • i have the problem that the armors from Tactical Gear Componets have the wrong amorclass. APC Bodyarmor class 5 and i dont now why.

    • Okay, I found out that if you use the real armor class from the realism mode, it shows class 5. However, if you enable this setting, it shows the correct armor class.

  • Thanks for making this mod and have a quick question about making my own patch. Currrently trying to use MFAC Guns so i can a shotgun variant of the PKM for funzies but trying to figure out what exactly needs to be patched in. Do i need each and every part of the gun or can i get away with just doing stock for recoil lessening?

  • Hi, I was wondering if you could add MFAC Ammo to your mod.

  • There's an issue with the 6.8x51 FMJ ammo in the ammo.js file for the 14.0 preview mod: the item id it's looking for is incorrect and the correct ID should be "6529302b8c26af6326029fb7", at least for me.


    I suggest you double check yourself rather than take the word of an internet user, the correct id should be found in user>mods>y1400 items preview>database> mmfac_items.json and i found the id on line 611 in notepad++

    • I think AK15 is already supported by Realism, but I could be wrong

    • That is correct, the prior ak12ak15 mod is officially supported by realism, no idea about the m16 tho

  • Civiciam released version 1.0.5 of Tactical Gear Component. Will your Realism Compatibility patch need to be updated or is it still functional with the new version of TGC?

    • He will be update for new items, but is still fonctionnal

  • Is it possible to add compatibility with Recoil 2: SPT-Realism edit? I haven't tested it so far but I assume it doesn't work because Recoil 2 also needs a custom Weapon and Attachment Realism presets
